" no goals scored this season in the league "

It's been 2 games and we've played almost an entire 1 of those with 10 men ffs
We lost the first two in 2018-19, by a bigger goal margin than these two games, and had 11 men for each of those defeats. Wilder "proved himself" by getting us promoted.

Having 10 men was down to our own incompetence though. It's not an excuse. It wasn't something that was inflicted upon us by the fickle hand of fate.

And sorry, but I think Wilder has wasted money on areas of our squad that couldve waited a while, or certainly until we had someone upfront. We needed a striker in January, its Seotember abd we still need one.

I'm hoping tonight twists Abdullahs arm to burn some cash on forwards/creative talent

Wilder may also want to get the beers in on the bus home and think of a new cunning plan, we look rumbled and pedestrian now.

Starts now. An amazing 3 years has now come to a close and Wilder will have the biggest test of his career now, everything's great when your winning games, the hardest thing to recover from is a run of losses, tipped to be good enough for the big clubs, time to prove himself on the otherside of the coin now.

6 competetive games lost in a row, no goals scored this season in the league, its gonna be a long season.

No, this isn't a slating Wilder thread, or a kneejerk reaction either. What he's done is remarkable, i really hope he has what it takes to get us out of this hole. I'm sure he does.

Do you only ever post when we have lost or you can have a dig!

Chrissy Wilder is God, and in God we trust. CWAK will sort it out. We finished 9th last season, so why wouldn't we win the whole PL this time? No room for any criticism here, it's never due nor granted, and Wilder is perfect just as is Lunny. Should you disagree, you can go on and start your own message board. "Zero tolerance." F*K you wrist-slashing homophobes!

We are favourites to go down. We will be every year given our transfer and wage budgets. Hopefully we can achieve the miracle of fourth bottom again. I was very pleased with the front players and defence today given the situation. Delighted with Burke's performance. If that's his level for the rest of his time at United this signing will be seen as another masterstroke.
The opening poster should drop the "don't look like scoring" nonsense as we had opportunities in all the games this season and a ton against Southampton. I don't even have to check the other games to know that's nonsense.

3 games competetive this year all lost

Last 3 games of last season all loat

3 + 3 = 6 all lost with 2 goals scored. Im not basing this post on 2 games fyi.

if your going to be a twat about it we didnt lose competitive games this season. We lost 2 in between a draw. Penalties dont count as a loss just a determining factor on who qualifies for the next round

now piss off back to your bed to wet it some more.

If you was Prince, and you'd been talked into siging Bogle, Lowe for 10-15m, and Ramsdale for 18.5m why would you want to give him another 20m+ to sign a striker?

Bogle and Lowe can't get in the side

Ramsdale has had a very shakey start. I don't understand why Wilder has a right to just demand money for players when, we've wasted so much money on other areas of the pitch that we obviously didn't need. If we needed Lowe and Bogle, why haven't they been involved in the 2 games? Lowe was a stand out against Burnley on Thursday.

It doesn't sit right with me.

What i would say in fairness to the OP is that Wilder has talked about how important it is not to get into a rut and run of losses in this league otherwise can be extremely hard to get out of.

Because we will go down if we don't.

Perhaps as a business man, the Prince is well aware of the fact that you shouldn’t base your decisions on the here and now.

Fact Sheffield United the only team in the league that has played not to score ANY goals. That is serious.

Because we will go down if we don't.

Granted, but on the flip side, big signings don't always work out though.

Infact. I would say the players that we got cheaper have proven to be the most successful.

Are you saying Wilder can't spend money?

well it wouldnt sit right with you because you know about as much about football as you do about our transfer dealings Mr ITK . Now its past your bedtime go to sleep.

Got to agree villa have spent loads on players and they’ve only just managed to beat 10 men, even time wasting. Honestly.

Ok maybe I don't know much about football, you could be right

However, what I do know, we have lost our last 6 competitive games, scoring 2 goals, one in a nonsense cup competition and one in the PL. You don't have to be a genius at football to know that's not good.

We also are sat in the league table, as the only team this season to not score a goal. Yes we have only played 2 games but our next 4-5 fixtures look tougher than our first 2 games.

Fukin hell there are some real drama queen's on here. Would have loved to have been in the trenches with these people.

We've lost two games (against a very good Wolves side when we were caught cold) and been let down by a bit of sillyness by our Captain tonight who gave the ref a chance to send him off and even then we could have had a draw with a bit of luck) and suddenly we are the worst side in the PL.

I thought we played well tonight considering that we were down to 10 from the 12th minute, and some of our football was really good.

If I'm gunna be critical of the team I always give it a few hours to make sure I'm not shooting from the hip and having a pop out of pure disappointment. Some should do likewise it seems.

Not a lot wrong with our lads. They will come good very soon.

Serious question here. Of our next 5 league games, where do you see our first point/s coming? and realistically how many do you think we will get out of our next 6?

Leeds
Arsenal
Fulham
Liverpool
Man City
Chelsea

I say we'll get 1 maybe 3 against Fulham, out of our first 8 games, would your opinion then still be the same as now?
