I love what Wilder did for us, and the way we rose up.Wish we had him in charge for the run in - Thoughts!!
My thoughts are I’m totally confused as to how any United fan can fail to appreciate the job Paul Heckingbottom has done at the Lane since taking over.Wish we had him in charge for the run in - Thoughts!!
He'd've never lost a crunch end of season game to Millwall. The Wilder promotion teams had a knack of winning big games. The games where as a United fan you "knew we would blow it" e.g. Boro, we would win. Would he do it with the current team? Not so sure.
Your only ever as good as the people who work for you. Wilder and the team worked well together.
Not a chance I would have him back if it was up to me.
If he ever returns one day it just wouldn't be the same as the dynamics in many ways would be totally different than in his first spell.
I also wouldn't like to see the return of us pissing about with the ball in triangles on either side of the box for ages, infuriating!
He's the main reason we have all the players we currently have who have given us a good chance of another promotion.
Boo hiss.
We would rather be mid table in league one after 6 seasons in that division before you turned up.
Some fans are not only extremely fickle but incredibly forgetful.
Can't argue with thatI enjoyed going to the match a lot more when Wilder was manager, and at the end of the day that's what it's all about.
I'll totally agree with you hereWilder gets more hate than nigel adkins and nigel clough
Its not as if hes one of the best managers we have ever had
Quite baffling
I absolutely don’t.Wish we had him in charge for the run in - Thoughts!!
Did we not beat his Middlesboro team 4-1According to my EPG he's working for BBC one on the Spurs game. Has he been back since he left?

My thoughts are also it’s only down to Paul Heckingbottom that we are in this position, 4 points clear with a game in hand, in the first place after the total shit show he took over.
My thoughts are also Chris Wilder would have turned the players against him by this stage anyway, blaming only them for the recent poor results.
My last thoughts are Chris Wilder would have walked by now, blaming everything from lack of investment from the top, to the players, to the training ground.
Paul Heckingbottom has done a tremendous job despite everything thrown against him.
So that’s my thoughts.
We’re very lucky to have him.
Pulis did really well during his second spell at Stoke, if you look past the quality of football. It’s all relative, of course. How often has a manager ever returned to a club and repeated the success from first time around? Doesn't tend to happen. Kendall at Everton. Big Fat Ron at the Pigs. We've moved on.
A Blades supporter? If he is he seems to lose all interest when things are going well.Only blades supporters would pine for the bloke that walked out and left us in the shite. As said above, he’s yesterday’s news.
I love what Wilder did for us, and the way we rose up.
I still feel shortchanged about the way it all led to his departure. For me he should have been here still now and us still be in the PL or back in the PL.
Perhaps one day maybe have him back, I know many think he "left by the back door" but open your eyes and see. Wilder, Slav and Hecky all seem to cut a figure of frustration at our board. Wilder should have tried to do more what Hecky does and get on with it, but you have to remember he's a boy hood blade and got too involved.
BUT he isn't the manager. And a comment or thread like this doesn't really mean anything.
It's almost like saying..... wish we had MGW for the run in.
Heckingbottom is and 3 matches ago for the most part this was fine. Yeah some had expressed concern about some performances but no one was arguing about the results.
