Wilder....

Presumably the TV 'experts' will read this and take it as evidence we will be going gung ho away at Man City with both centre backs overlapping. Would be a much better idea to properly do your research and take a look how we played away at Leeds or West Brom last season.

Puzzling how, being voted as the leading manager in the whole of English football, the so-called experts still choose to ignore Wilder's credentials?

Voted by his peers as the best there is, beating Pep and Klopp amongst all the other recognised managers, Wilder seems saddled with a tag of journeyman. I cannot wait until it becomes clear just how good CW is at Prem level. I'm not suggesting we'll pull up trees, but I believe we have enough about us to progress as we've done since Wilder was appointed manager of the Blades.

Let those who underestimate us worry what lies in store. The Blades are back and we're going to do our very best to show we're a team worthy of the Prem! UTMB!!!

He's not an overseas manager, he's English and from up north, he ain't got a barrel of money, he's not a press pin up ex player from a top team, and he managers little old Sheffield United, so no matter what he doe's he'll never be anyone of note till he leaves us.

What's to be puzzled about ?

The answer to your rather puzzling, even naive, question is, in spite of CW's achievements - two promotions in three seasons, on what for most teams would be considered risible budgets, selling his most prodigious talent to free up funds to buy players who made immense contributions in getting us over the line as we achieved promotion - perhaps these maters escaped you. Never mind the inward looking, parochial, "no one likes us" mantra, we're now amongst this countries leading clubs, so less of the little old Sheffield United, let's see if, under CW, we can fulfil our potential and establish ourselves as a Prem club on merit.

You've given your opinion I've given you mine, we've both come to the same conclusion but from different angles, and if you think I'm wrong your living in cloud cuckoo land...….

Like all the best Magicians Chris is an expert in redirection.

Wilder, who achieved promotion with four of the five teams he has managed, adds: "That year-on-year improvement, the stadium, the team, his playing staff, and the way they play - I like the way Spurs go about their work."

Which Spurs player are we loaning?!
