Wilder! Why make those substitutions FFS?

Brave manager in the choices he makes and the approach he takes. I said when we went up from League One that it would be a big test of his character to see if he dared to continue going out to attack teams that, on paper, had better squads than us. He hasn't let me down once. Going away to a team like today, with injuries, daring to drop Madine after last week in favour of playing through them with McGoldrick, it takes a lot of guts. You have to be brave enough to have those bad days where Boro stick three past you, bloody Walsall stuck four in, and still say, no, that's how we play. And then you see Cranie launch into a sprint from our back three to barely get to the ball on their touchline, and it wins you a huge game.

I absolutely love knowing that we'll go out to try to win a game, however tough it looks.

He obviously trusts this squad implicitly

Commented on another thread that the defence were awesome. All fully blooded now and committed to the cause. No automatic starters now , just focused professionals who want to stop the round thing going into the onion bag. The performances we have seen from Cranie. Johnson and Stearman show that they the have depth and desire not only to play for their place in the team but for the club.

Some ridiculous comments on here pre match, again, when the team sheet was announced.

I fully understand people criticising tactics, performance & substitutions having watched that particular match. But how people can so conclusively call a team selection 'shit', 'stupid', 'crazy', 'baffling', etc etc etc before a ball is even kicked astounds me. Unless of course they have watched the players in training all week.

Rumour has it, he carries his bollocks in a wheel barrow

That's why they needed the new team bus, the old one wasn't wheelbarrow accessible and he was having trouble getting up the stairs.

New one has a lift near the kitchen. They can load his bollocks on while Chris has a brew.

Heard the same before the Middlesbrough and Reading games.

Note to the know-nowts :)

IN WILDER WE TRUST!

Couldn't believe what I was seeing in the shoutbox, and the usual suspects saying we were going to lose because of the team selection, thinking they know better before a ball is kicked.

Chris Wilders balls are so big they have their own orbit.

His balls are so big he's banned from the canal boats in Amsterdam as, in the event of him going overboard the water displacement would put the Netherlands 10 feet underwater.

I love this team and the way wilder wants to win every game.

Aston villa have only lost 1 game more than us. Yet we are 19 points above them.

Set out to win and the 3 points instead of 1 will more than make up for the dropped points losing a game you could have drawn through trying to attack.

Is it just me and a select few ,or have we got a cracking squad

Best team If we ever watched for consistency of performance

Every game we can win . We don't all the time but that's life. But it's getting more often

Because there's still some fucking imbeciles amongst us who, despite the last 3 years, still don't understand what's happening at this club, or how.

It's been a low-key, almost underground revolution under Wilder. At the moment, it feels unstoppable. What a ride.

If Egan was just precautionary (which sounds the case) how brave was that one??
Cranie and Egan both had tight calf's it would have been silly to leave them on if either had pulled a calf muscle there season could have been over, calf muscles like hamstrings are difficult injuries to get over.
It could have cost us the game but the subs were up to for it great calls by Wilder,we are a real team, great stuff.

True, damaged my calf out running , stupidly carried on and it got worse, 8 months later I’m still wary of it when I run
