I thought he and Clarke played well in the second half considering they were trykng to live off the scraps that our very poor midfield were trying to give them

Sharp was poor last Saturday and Tuesday but today his hold up play and distribution was ok and he scored a well taken goal.

This issues are in midfield and at the back mainly. A particular frustration is we are too narrow therefore without any pace and Done being unable to control a ball we are easy to defend against

We`ve needed a new spine since Harry was sold. Plenty knew Long was no good and after Doyle went we had no midfield whatsoever.
I`m pretty sure countless others knew this as I did at the relevant time,but Clough,Adkins,and until today Wilder didn`t.
No idea how much the aforementioned got/get paid but FFS they`ve done no better than most on here could have done.

We are 2 league games in, 44 to go and still have the best part of 3 weeks until the transfer window closes. It's not an ideal start and nobody is trying to say otherwise but to hear some on hear proclaiming the end of the world is un fuckin believable

I think the trouble is ....a lot criticised fans for daring to question us last season. I remember lots commenting on where Burton, Walsall were placed and saying they wont be there at the end of the season.

Would be nice to start well and develop that winning mentality. Other than a win at Grimsby we have lost to Halifax, Derby, Crewe, Bolton and drew with Rochdale (just). Its been a really poor start. Its not about being 5 points off for me; its the fact the side looks no better than they did last season. Early or not. I thought the new manager would get them flying from the blocks with a fit and sharp attitude and would take games to teams, especially at the Lane. None of this has happened.

And McCabe needs to fund this. Today was one of the most dire performances I have witnessed in 55 years of supporting the blades. I believe McCabe is suffocating our football club.

I agree totally Deadbat. Today, the blades played with no coherent shape. And we definitely are not creating chances. Wilder and Sharp's denials of these facts are worrying.
