Personally I don’t see Couttsy being let go. If Norwood got injured it would be like Couttsy in reverse. That is why we need 2 x Coutwoods!

I think it’s a bit of both. When he’s at the races, Norwood is untouchable, perhaps the best in the Championship. Couttsy’s cameos this season have shown that he’s a) not nearly at the level he was pre-injury (completely understandable) and b) not nearly at the level we’ve come to expect from Norwood. I would have liked to see Coutts loaned out in January to get him up to speed, and take it from there. Perhaps Wilder sees him as still having a role to play here this season though.

Why weren’t other clubs desperate to get to get Norwood after the impact he’s had recently at this level? There are some stupid scouts, managers, assistants, etc. out there I guess (thankfully!). If and it’s a hypothetical if we were to get promoted he surely deserves a crack at the top level? Do Fulham fans rue their decision I wonder?

Having listened to the interview on the way in, Giddings is being naughty. I think Radio Sheffield don't like it when both sets of fans don't have anything to moan about, so whilst the pigs are cementing their play off's over the next month or so, we will get the shit headlines.
