Newspaper talk is bound to happen although 60% don't want him in the voting. Some are saying the Championship Manager they are looking at is Dean Smith. They may well be interested but CW is hardly going to go to a club in the Championship that have a Technical Director, Nick Hammond and are currently struggling to pay their players wages.

Giddings didn't help CW's mood last night by trying to ask a question about this, poor form from Radio Pig. Giddings probably read the same article.

Should Wilder leave United (naturally I hope it doesn't happen any time soon), I wonder how his proclaimed "only UK players" mantra would work at a club that has been used to signing players from Europe or further afield?
