Wilder to West Brom?

Jermaine Jenas said on MOTD this evening that they should take an outside risk go for him instead of the merry go round of Alan Partridge, I mean Pardew. Even Megson got them playing well today, I'm tired too of seeing Pardew Pulis Hodgson Allardyce Hughes moving around

Nice to hear our/his achievements recognised no way he goes there of course long that may continue

UTB

Just feck off with this shit

Once Cardiff have achieved automatic promotion they can get rid of Warnock and West Brom can take him off their hands to get them straight back to the Prem. :)
Good championship manager
Shit premier league one
Only so long you can play the Millwall card every week
(No one likes but we don’t care )
Mind you they’ll be the
Best players , fans , chairman, club he’s ever worked with
Don’t cha now

Sleeping pig ?

Dang thousands of posts on here and Bladesmad about a variety of issues, yet you've got me after all these years congrats

In seriousness thought it was notable that our manager was being praised on MOTD it's probably been decades since that last happened if ever

They're not interested in CW. Fans want Pig Pearson and Craig Shakespeare as a dream team. Supporters who derided Pulis for his football yet love the ginger tosser. Long overdue relegation for the oinkers of the Midlands. Forever in the shadow of Villa and Brum. CW won't go anywhere near this lot.

Don't like West Brom either. a;ways preferred Wolves over West Brom. West Brom can't even sell out at 24,000 capacity having being in the Prem for 10 years or so. There's no way Wilder would go there either. Not in my view anyway. I think Pearson would be a good shout for WBA though.

CW would be perfect for any of the relegated teams. He has shown he can turn a team around.

Wilders CV shows he’s good at turning struggling league 2 sides (Northampton) around.

So the West Brom situation is totally different.
Wilder has ZERO experience dealing with PL level players
And almost ZERO experience dealing with foreign players and big egos.

I would suspect that is exactly why they'd want him. WBA would be looking to get rid of those type of players and start again with younger, hungrier football league players with humility and a higher level of self awareness than the shower of shit that is currently taking them down.

I know we have slipped a little from the dizzy heights of the top of the league but I still don't understand why people are so keen to get rid of Chris Wilder. I'm more than happy with what he's doing for us and happy for hi to stay, thank you very much.

Why would Chris want to stay in the Championship next season with a smaller club, when he could be in the Premier with us? :D

I sort of see where you are coming from. Being in the middle of the premier league with no realistic hope of making progress must be dull. However, when we lost 4-2 at home to Shrewsbury I'm not sure it felt like we were on a journey. Maybe a very long and painful one barefoot with glass on the floor!
You wouldn't have wanted it any other way :)

I think if West Bromwich wanted Wilder he would go.

Next step for him, uncertainty behind the scenes, budget likely to be bottom 6 again, gone as far as possible with us.

Could leave with his head held high, this club is a shambles behind the scenes.

He’s smart enough to avoid them. With the sounds of it there owners are clueless and are on the same one way bus as Sunderland

Whereas West Brom are a fantastic run club Treeton?! Now they are a club that's a shambles! Not picking on you Treeton but I think if you look round the leagues, about half of them would say that they're not happy with the ownership!

I know they seem to be a bit of a mess behind the scenes but half of the league clubs being unhappy about it seems to be excessive?

West Brom are actually a well run club with a good chairman. The fans got what they wished for when they got rid of Pulis, and now they are seeing the result. Lessons for all there. It is not impossible that West Brom, Stoke and Palace go down and Boro go up - that would be the ultimate testament to what Tony Pulis is.

No way Tufty would leave us - unless we leave him, ie undermine him at board level.

Magic is Fleeting and must be Savoured

He’s going nowhere... until he’s got us in the Prem.

No better feeling for him than that for HIS club!

If WBA were assured of Premiership football next season I would be worried.

CW would only leave us for Premiership management....... not to a club in the same division as us.

Classic case of "be careful what you wish for". They didn't like Pulis' brand of football, or bumbling along in mid-table in the PL every season. They won't have to worry about either next season.

They were ,they are owned by a Chinese consortium now

Jeez - CW may leave us at some time - but it won't be for West Brom - at least give CW & AK (for that matter) some credit.

Your more likely to get a blow job from Teresa may

No Brainer i would go if I was him. At least they might back him properly. It would be good to see how good he could be with proper backing and proper money to spend. If we had invested properly in him we would be pissing this league. Two decent strikers tonight yet again would have seen us 4 up by the 80th minute. But that means giving a great manager the tools to the job and unfortunately that costs money and were never gonna spend proper money........

Next season in championship West Bromwich play like we do they will get 100 points with Wilder in charge.

Imagine Daniel Sturridge playing under Wilder he would get 50 goals.

Wilder = Success at every level he has been at. There’s only one more to be tested at. Someone will take a punt and we will see.

The Premiership merry go round now is a joke. It will end soon enough.

Pardew has loads of experience with PL Level players. He also has loads of experience dealing with foreign players with big egos. Didn’t work out for him!!

Unlikely he’ll go anywhere until the end of next season. Just heard him on Radio Sheffield saying ‘my club, don’t want to know’ but come this time next season and if he’s only got Clayton Donaldson to bring on as a sub, he’ll be off and GLTTL
