Jermaine Jenas said on MOTD this evening that they should take an outside risk go for him instead of the merry go round of Alan Partridge, I mean Pardew. Even Megson got them playing well today, I'm tired too of seeing Pardew Pulis Hodgson Allardyce Hughes moving around

Nice to hear our/his achievements recognised no way he goes there of course long that may continue

UTB

Pardiola nailed on for West Brom I think. He may or may not keep them up, but when he's had his turn they'll get Allardici in. Or Hodgson again, if he's done at Palace by then. And then back to Pulis. God forbid they ever abandon the short-term thinking and take a chance on a progressive manager like Wilder. Long may it continue.

I'm glad no ones taking a chance on CW, we are the visionaries after doing our own merry go round of names.

Hull will be next to sack manager and be linked to CW

Wilder is far too passionate to go to a club like West Brom. The Baggies, like Stoke, Palace and half a dozen other teams in the PL have but one ambition - get to 40 points so they can cling on for another season of boring their fans shitless. The Blades are averaging higher crowds than seven PL teams. Would you really have turned out on a freezing Saturday evening to watch Swansea or Palace? I know I wouldn't.

We've been on freezing evenings to watch us play Shrewsbury, Fleetwood and Bury, so I guess the answer is a yes.

Ah, but we were (hopefully) on a journey to better things. Where they're at now is the absolute pinnacle that the Watfords, Swanseas, Stokes will ever achieve, and it's tedious.
I sort of see where you are coming from. Being in the middle of the premier league with no realistic hope of making progress must be dull. However, when we lost 4-2 at home to Shrewsbury I'm not sure it felt like we were on a journey. Maybe a very long and painful one barefoot with glass on the floor!

Watford are playing some fantastic football this season and shouldn't be compared with make weights like Swansea and Stoke.

job opening = shock thread on s24 about wilder going there
it's inevitable but frankly i don't get the logic.. we will probably bypass them when they come down.. we're bigger than WBA.. already.. and so are a lot of teams in the champ.

The foreign players in the current Premier League squads would not respect him as they are self absorbed morons.

Like Pardew, Howe etc Wider is going to have get a team promoted (us) and keep them (us) up before they take notice.

Wilder has done a fuck load of winning. Not sure winning 1 in 3 in the PL with WBA is worth giving up on us yet!

After only 1 point from the last 6 I'll drive him there myself

Well I think West Brom missed a trick here fortunately for us.

Definitely screwed themselves with Pardew though XD

CW would be perfect for any of the relegated teams. He has shown he can turn a team around.

I think that they did the classic struggling premier league team trick. Appoint a manager off the merry-go-round, rather than going for someone creative. They are as good as relegated, so i'd expect Appleton until the end of the season and have a look at what's available. It has it's obvious difficulties, but it's a blank canvas with parachute money.

Bookies have shortened for wilder ..25's to 10-1 .Baggies are down so looking for a bounce back manager.

They probably won’t look at him as he’s not been a proven failure in The Premier League or a foreign League.

They should go for him though. (Not that I wet him to leave at all)

SkyBet have him at 4-1 .Which is what the score will be tonite .Brooks and Sharp to tear the taffies a new one
