How did you feel after Wilders first Championship season when we finished 10th ?

Strange, that we now view anything other than winning the league as not good enough.

After his first championship season the vast majority of fans still backed him and helped push us to promotion in the following season.
It appears now that a 'significant minority' of fans are more interested in trying to oust him.
The level of discontent voiced at matches and on the internet are hardly adding to the battle.
But the football is bloody turgid !! If you want results buy shares in an oil major.

I would not be surprised if players like Gilchrist & O'Hare & now Campbell/Brewster were pi55ed off. All dropped to make way for Wilder's January signings. Why Clarke (3rd choice for me), Cannon yesterday?? Really?? Choudry the most negative player ever (a poor man's Butch Wilkons) has now been on the pitch for the last 20 mins in the last 2 games when we are chasing the game. Yesterday Wilder brought off Peck because he'd just brought 'the crabs on. Poor poor subs every time.
You forget super glue sub - Holden. Permanently stuck to the bench. Am convinced he slides out of his shorts to get changed in the dressing room. Must be about 7 or 8 grounds with his shorts still super glued to the away bench.

In that first Championship season we had a recognised style, we played without fear, we committed more bodies forward than back and we outplayed just about everyone we played.

Maybe CW. should go back to playing the overlapping centre backs, lauded the world over as a revolutionary new style of play, then the fans can go back to criticising him for not having a plan B after the opposition worked out how to counter this.

That's the main problem with football, two teams.
Each of whom wish to win.

Sometimes teams who are doing badly see playing the top teams as their only chance of having glory, their FA cup final, and raise their games and physical level to suit.

The fans however see it as - it's only Plymouth we should beat them five nil.

Remember when under Nigel Clough in the 1st division we would beat PL teams in the cup and then loose to Accrington Stanley in the league in the same week.

If fans, wish to be known as supporters, they should 'support' the team through thick and thin.

If we get promoted, will we be demanding a new manager every time we loose two or three games ?
