Appreciate a small summary if anyone has time..cheers

1. Frees and loans only ahead of the Tuesday deadline.
2. Some talk by players etc. about the state of the club but Wilder has told them to do their job on the pitch and forget the rest.
3. Still wants to bring 2 or 3 in, one of which replaces Hamer at LW.
4. He's had a brief with the owners about the current state of the club.

Why can’t I ever get into the press conference live on SUTV ? Whatever I try I can’t get the live feed and then it takes them a day to put the recording on the site. Anybody else struggle with this?

Seems much better this year, for me at least.
I seem to be able to log in and watch live, and it even gives me the option to watch from the start - even if the presser is still underway.
As you say, this wasn't the case previously and if you missed the start you were screwed.

works in Chrome for me not Firefox - same as SUTV streams

If you've not listened to it yet already I'd recommend it. I was actually emotional watching it not sure if anyone else felt the same? Wilders focus was there for all to see. How facial expression said more than any words. One of total focus as I say. In my head it just made me shout Sheffield United, Sheff United, Sheffield United!

I'm sure even those that don't want Wilder will recognise that he is ideally made for this situation and I couldn't wish for a better manager in charge of our club than Wilder. We must use this to galvanise the fanbase because we as fans can make a huge difference. This club has had adversity even during years of success (Brearley/Woolhouse/Hashimi etc) and we have to be fully behind Wilder/the club.

Not waiting for a bad referring decision to start singing. From the off in every match, full support. Forget what's going on at board level to an extent.

This team/manager deserve it.

I read it somewhere else but sometimes moments like this in our club bring the best out of our fans. The worst atmosphere I've witnessed was under Hecky's promotion season when there was a sense of entitlement, back to being underdogs and getting behind the team & management

Totally agree. I remember a match v Millwall just after the West Brom debacle under Warnock when there was talk of a points deduction. I was on the Kop and we were either 1 or 2 down at half time. I saw this guy a few rows in front of me giving Warnock the V sign when he came out and I rebuked him with a few short words. He walked over to me from his seat and actually he was ok with me but I said to him now the time to get fully behind the team because we're in a hole.

We ended up winning that match and with each goal that went in that fan looked back at me in acknowledgement and by coincidence I used to see him out in Broomhill on a night out and we formed a friendship!

Warnock proved his value in my view. I'm no longer a Warnock fan sadly, but he did an excellent job.

Hardly going to galvanise the fan base if thetes as many that dont want him that do
Under a lot of pressure cw from upstairs and the fan base , he cracked up last time with the pressure he will need people around him to pull their weight

I think he just wants the season to end so he can ditch half the squad and bring in more accomplished players and have a good pre season, which he indicated is already programmed .
His ability as a Championship manager will be tested in the next 6 months.
Doubt he will be here after January

Like they have before and the Prince did, selling the better players and expecting either the replacement already be at the club or a loan will cover it and they'll hit the ground running, then the pressure is on the Gaffer to still pull out the results or get sacked. When will they learn??

Pollster poll proof?

Or are you just guessing that more than 50% want a new manager?

Still if you've written it on the internet it must be true eh?

He’s never been shy to back down before, why now?
I suspect it's complicated. And if he spoke out of turn they might sack him.

But now probably isn't the time for him to say "Look it's a ridiculous situation the owners are putting us in".

There's a chance they have said to him not to worry about it and explained a bit of their strategy. However his demeanor suggested he isn't care free so I reckon it's not appeased him.

Does he not know they are skint no money for sackings

Not complicated.

Owners have realised they had their pants down at £100m. Thought they would make quick $’s but now they are looking at a huge loss and trying not to pay the agreed price.

My guess is we will be up for sale within a few months as soon as we know if EFL are going to take action. That action might be the EFL and IFR forcing owners to sell if as I understand it is within their power.

Our season is about avoiding religation.

Doesn’t sound like he’s impressed with the owners - and maybe he’s been told they are looking to sell.

Sorry, I've had a shit day/week and you'rr the lightning rod for my mirth!

What utter tosh. Regardless of the off field shenanigans, we've got a squad with enough quality to finish top 8, so why would that suddenly change?

Let's not suddenly start panicking and running round with our pants on fire. We were 1 or 2 players off having a really competitive team. Even if we don't manage to get them in, we still have a really strong squad.

I'll remind people, if Hull and Millwall can make the play offs last season, there's no reason we can't.

Stop with the negativity and self depreciation of the players we have ...

Surprised you missed the big one.

5: He confirmed the Harry Souttar offer was still on the table. Still wouldn’t be surprised if he comes but it’s good we refuse to pay the £10 million asking price because he’s not worth £10 mil and would be a risk. Wonder how our fans would react if we bought Souttar for….say £8 million.
Can imagine our fans would say….terrible signing….always injured and playing crap for Leicester.

So that makes it appear our transfer kitty is about £8 million, altho he didn’t confirm this and made it sound the kitty is all for Souttar and no one else,
which doesn’t really make sense.

Regards 3: He said he expects 2 to 3 signings to come into club next week as we still have plenty of deals in the pipeline but we’re waiting on other deals.
