Wilder out

Not really sure of the point of the thread. We stupidly sacked a successful manager removed him from summer transfers brought in a couch who couldn’t (coach) finally did something sensible and brought CW back but with a hugely depleted squad. What exactly do you expect him to do. When he came back I was hoping g we would stay up. I’m still hoping we will stay up. That is so much better than where we were heading. Unfortunately it’s a case of careful what you wish for. It often not easy to recover from as we are discovering. Just hope people start supporting the team rather than trying to hound another manager out as is the won’t in this social media age. At least we know CW can coach. Selles , really not so sure.
Did I hear that right Chris Wilder can drive a coach !!!

If you always do what you’ve always done
You’ll always got what you’ve always got

Campbell does not out the hard yards in

One up front especially at home does not work

Two in midfield does not wirk

Tangananga righr back does not work
spot on mcguinness is league 1 standard at best and were playing tanganga our best centre back on the right this one is on wilder playing a midfielder who should have been dropped 4 games ago and who has to do a complete turn before he passes the ball usually backwards i.e. derby's 2nd goal then leaves him on and takes soumare off just unbelievable far too many league 1 players in this squad and 1 striker playing at home to and lets make no bones about this a very very average derby team pigs will beat us and unless wilder has a rethink on tactics were heading for league 1 with the snortbeasts

Let’s make Sheffield United great again.
I’ve just watched the game with my good friends from COH, great people, some say the greatest people.

Anyway, I want to say that today’s result was stolen from us. Stolen by a team of people with sheep in their badges, THATS JUST WEIRD MAN. I bet they’re Biden supporters.

I like Christopher’s style, never accountable, always someone else’s fault. He’s clearly a genius just like me. He needs to replace sleepy Alan though, MAN THERE ARE MORE ANIMATED PEOPLE IN ARLINGTON CEMETERY THAN HIM!!!!!!!!!

I’ve decided to help Christopher out. I’m going to send the National Guard into Coventry for the next game. They’re too successful, I mean everyone calls them Frank Lampard’s Coventry!!!!!!! Egotistical NOT CLASSY!!!!!! You wouldn’t see that from me!!!! Hey Chavo more gold paint in here now or I’ll deport your ass!!!!

Anyway, I digress. There’s too much winning in Coventry, they’re stealing wins. My national guard will address this. The normal law abiding people of Coventry need fear nothing. Well
Things might get a bit more water cannony and a bit more shooty. But you can’t break the law without breaking a few eggs, I think that’s how the saying goes.

Anyway, go fuck yourselves, and God Bless Mar e Largo, it’s a beautiful place, everybody says so.

Hey Vance, don’t talk with your mouthful. Ahhh that’s better…

Totally lost the spark unfortunately. Gone from one of the most inventive managers in the football league to a stubborn dinosaur in 5 years.
Poor Chris is only a good manager when things are going well. Has he ever turned a relegation fight around?

He will not be then manager at the season. The only question is will be in the Championship or not.

He did it once with Northampton. Finishing 21st is now our target for the season. Our final game of the season is away to todays opponents. After that abject display not sure we're capable of replicating Northampton.

He was appointed manager in January 2014 when the club was bottom of the League Two table and six points adrift of safety. Under his management, the team secured enough points to finish in 21st position, avoiding relegation on the final day of the season with a crucial 3-1 win over his former club, Oxford United.

If anyone was looking at wilder as an instant impact manager has he ever been that? We’re blaming him for something he’s never been.

We’d have been in a better position if we’d kept him. I’m not sure many felt optimistic getting him in during this spell. The biggest mistake we made was sacking him, the amateur mistake we made was bringing him back

Hopefully he will either resign or try some tactics that involve attacking and/or keeping it tight at the back

The latter won't happen as he is clueless. Not only are we shit, we are also unbelievably boring to watch as well!
Exactly!
The owners cannot afford to let wilder have a free reign in the January transfer window!

There's no point complaining about negative football now. I certainly did last season but we're in a relegation battle and we need shut-outs, so I expect little entertainment value.

We'll probably survive, I'd be surprised if we didn't but it's at the cost of sacrificing our position as a yo-yo club.

One of the major issues I have with Wilder (there are others) is that he can never keep his big yap shut. That gloating over Wednesday earlier this year, which most seemed to love, is going to haunt us.
The most embarrassing thong about that was the subsequent 4 games. He thought it was season over and we played like it after.

Made his monologue look fucking ridiculous and shows how highly he regards himself.

Obvious we are going down. Lost 6 in 8 and if selles was still manager he'd be getting it from us fan....
Selles barely brought any players in and fans never gave him a chance.

The football is no better, in fact id argue our best 45 mins this season was still under selles.

WIkders last 18 game league record going back last season is abysmal.

Bringing him back was pathetic.

A frankly stupid narrative seems to have developed amongst some since the summer that Wilder is the only manager we could attract that could possibly be successful with us. Obviously that isn’t the case, but if it was, what an extremely negative picture that paints of the club. It’s a loser’s view.

It was a mistake to bring him back on both occasions, but that’s on the respective owners who made those decisions. The day is coming, probably next summer, when we are going to have to finally move on from him. Until then, the club won’t move forwards. But I really feel for the next manager who will be on a hiding to nothing with a big chunk of the fans, no matter who it is.

Would losing to Wednesday swing the majority against Wilder do we think? Going to be an interesting few weeks to see who the fans go after
Probably the board, some of the daft fuckers would follow Wilder all the way to the national league sadly 😥

What do people think the peak output from this squad in it's current condition is. I'd love to know.

The table suggests we’ve got the 3rd worst squad in the division, but I refuse to believe that.

Yes, some of the signings have been poor and the squad obviously isn’t as good as last season but we’re losing to teams with worse or similar quality squads as us. That’s on Wilder.

I'm afraid mate we have some fans who are as delusional as some republicans who support Donald trump 😁
You're right about the 'cult of Wilder' but dead wrong about Trump.

He's exactly the sort of selfish, 'put the UK and its citizens first' anti-woke, anti-bullshit type of leader our country needs.

But let's stick to football.

It was only when my NFC pass updated a bit earlier I realised we were at home again next Saturday, i honestly thought it was the International break after the Coventry game.. that’s how much I’m interested this season

Only have to look at the 'whatbhas happened to this club' thread and selles name is everywhere, wilders barely to be seen.

Owners reappoiting him have set us back big time.

Pathetic ownership
