"Richairo hasn't played much football since the end of the Chinese season but has had a mini-pre season"

Well that's no good Chris is it?

He needs a full pre-season mate, a full one! Not a "mini" one. Mini ones are no good. If it's not a full one it's no good. And even if it is a full one, but it's a full one with another club, that doesn't count. If you read this forum more often you'd know that the panacea for all under-performing footballers is to have a full pre-season with us. If a player joins us without a full pre-season behind him then he can never catch up and be as good until the following season, when he's had a full pre-season.

I was gutted to read this tbh. I mean, fancy signing a player who hasn't had a full pre-season? We are going to have to wait until next season now, to see the best of him.:(

Isn't he in a temporary contract to the end of the season?. if so he might not get a pre season, a full one that is, not a mini one or a half one..

I'm a full pre season man, let's get that clear now...

Whoa... Careful of all those mountains in your back garden!
In Wilder we trust... You know that! UTB

And in some upsetting cases even having a full pre-season with us isn’t sufficient. Some players are so off the pace that they need one of our full pre-seasons, a full season and then another pre-season.

Kind of depends when the Chinese season finished I guess ?

He also said they're very happy with his and restos's fitness levels

Another Mousset scenario.

whenever I see vids of the lads training there is always one or two same faces at the back not looking like they are pushing it.
Mousset and McB always at the back.

Be interesting to see what goes on with Mousset particularly at seasons close, it’s well known the players are given strict fitness plans that require their own will power and commitment, and then its back for a couple weeks beasting. Mousset really needs a strong pre season and a summer of heavy fitness and conditiinnit. We are going to need more from him next season.

Hoping the richario signing really spurs him on as for me the guy really.seems to lack motivation.
We need two players of his ilk as he is not fit enough to last 90 mins or play twice a week

He seems to lack heart which is a shame as he is probably the most naturally gifted player I've ever seen at bdtbl
Think people hoping he will be better next sesson after a strong pre season will be dissapointed

Mousset should consider the place Lundstram and Baldock went to in Dubai preseason . Didn't do them any harm. I guess it would have been cleared by the club.

He might need a third pre-season before we start seeing his true potential? ;)

He’s only 3ft tall. A mini one is all he needs

He recently put a picture up on his Instagram story where he was out having burgers, chips, cola etc. I’m not having a go at him for this at all, Wilder was probably all up for letting him relax, but it doesn’t exactly look great when he’s been off the pace fitness wise all season.

We all want him to reach his potential because he’ll be our best player if he does. He’ll only do this if he puts in the desire and commitment to improving his fitness. He needs to look at Baldock and Lundstram for inspiration there.

Did Dean Hammond have a bit of one, a mini one or a full one?

my guess he doesn’t know what one is

Player A eats burger and chips in international break and puts it on social media

Player B eats burger and chips in international break and doesn’t put it on social media

Which player is the more committed and inspirational?

The one who is more committed and inspirational on the pitch
There isn't a player b though

I agree Mousset has amazing potential, if he was dedicated and driven to realising it, he literally would have the world at his feet.
The trouble is I think he’s a bit of a happy go lucky, ‘daft lad’ type and as a consequence, frustratingly, I don’t think we’ll ever see the best of him.

He needs to get Lunnied.

Which player is the more committed and inspirational?

Depends on who Player B is doesn’t it?

Would someone like Jack O’Connell, who other players have said has the attitude to be always in the gym and constantly putting in 110% in training, post something like that on social media? Probably not.

Again, not having a go at Moose for having a social life, footballers aren’t robots, but it does show the difference in character.
