The Times They are a Changing
Let's hope we can bring back some excitement at St Mary's. Felt a bit flat for me too but maybe us Sheff'lders can be a bit hyper critical when we're disappointed by events, Chris included.Agree, I trust the man with the whole club top to bottom, he's another Brian Clough, thats how high I rate him, but I just thought the players didn't deserve reminding where they came from, they've run thier blood to piss for him and we've all watched it, we should be celebrating a top ten finish with a relegation side according to the pundits, it's gone a bit flat since that press conference.
But I stress that's my opinion, I respect everybody else's, even if they chose to mock or play the poster.
I do find him a bit mardy sometimes and think maybe he could save it for the dressing room. He wears his heart on his sleeve and seems respected by most in the game for that.
On balance I prefer that than a manager who pays lip service.
I shall be celebrating an amazing season, slightly tarnished by Covid and phookin VAR.
When was the last time we witnessed 4 consecutive seasons as entertaining as the last 4. I don't see it changing next. The bar will be raised yet again. These are THE days.
