I can see the logic I suppose but it doesn’t necessarily mean that. Selling Egan this summer may be what’s best for the club if Wilder believes he won’t get a better price for him and/or he knows where he could spend the money.
Egan I think
Sorry misread what you said, I thought we were on about contract stallersEgan has two years left on his contract.
Surprised people have missed the bit about raising funds..
Won’t be a popular take but with Osborns performances since coming in and Flecks season today I think Fleck may have a few suitors and could very well be sacrificed for the good of the squad.
True, what Dyche has achieved is incredible. Though even Burnley have a wage bill 3x larger than ours if this table is correct: https://www.spotrac.com/epl/payroll/
£50 million for Fleck.
Can’t see it, he’s just bought a new house and reckon if he was for sale he’d have an idea about it. Reckon JOC is more likely, as would demand a bigger feeSurprised people have missed the bit about raising funds..

I mean it would be nice but we are talking about a guy who is about to turn 29 and has 2 Scotland caps to his name
£50 million for Fleck.
I can't prove this but the evidence (looking at club accounts) suggests those numbers are unmitigated bollocks. For example Burnley's wage bill last season (for the entire payroll) was 86 million quid, as I say it may be that only £37m of that was on players but I highly doubt it.True, what Dyche has achieved is incredible. Fulwoodwhere has he bought a new house though? Do we know? JOC is integral to how we play we looked lost without him and Fleck has no the other hand shouldn’t be in the starting 11. And don’t get me wrong I think he’s had a great season
I see your point but if a player lets an agent do all the talking and then the deal doesn't get done because of the demands of the agent, on behalf of the player, than the player is complicit as far as I'm concerned. I wish we were back in the late 80's when players agents were a rarity or players had their dad talking on behalf of a players like sir Bob Booker!
If Bash leaves it'll be a shock though because I just didn't see that coming.
Did you watch the game tonight? Fleck is twice the player Osborn is no disrespect to Osborn but the difference in quality was starkSurprised people have missed the bit about raising funds..

Sounds like Mousset may be on way out (according to tv commentator during match)Apart from Lunny who’s the other one threatening to go on a free In December?
Indeed, and that’s grown over how many successive seasons at the top level?True, what Dyche has achieved is incredible. Though even Burnley have a wage bill 3x larger than ours if this table is correct: https://www.spotrac.com/epl/payroll/
<BBC ;Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder says he is proud of what his side have achieved over the season but admits they need to strengthen over the summer following their 1-0 defeat to Everton.
Good to hear!
Egan has two more years to go on his contract. It runs to 2022.

And I wouldn't hold him back should he want to take it. Absolute servant and club legend imo.If Bash leaves it will be because he gets offered a three year contract nearer to his home methinks
