In his recent interviews he comes across as a forlorn beaten man.
Chris you’ve got to come back fighting instil that passion back into the team because there’s a few out there playing with there head down
Lets get that up tempo football back

I still beleive we'll be reyt. We've had games where we've had as many as 4 new players (2 of which are VERY new in Brewster and Ampadu) in the team, thats not even inc. Ramsdale. Thats not a dig at these players btw. Far from it. These players have 'jumped in at the deep end' in regards to having to learn a very confusing style of play (plenty of oppositiin managers and players after playing us under CWAK). Ive wondered if thats why we've seen very little of that style of play up to now this season? Is CW thinkin that if we try playing like that with 4 players learning 'on the job' there wouldve been a good chance wedve took some mullerings, bit like Chelsea game? It'll come. Keep the faith lads and lassess.

Question to the apparently more positive lot. We are currently wank if highlighting this and why its the case is downing chips what are we supposed to do just mindlessly clap at our TV screens or some shit?
No not at all mate just try and see the bigger picture and give em a little more time see if things improve by Christmas then we will have a better idea if we're going down or not

That is the point the tone has changed in his interviews and it is a concern.
My point would be that a change of tone isn’t cringeworthy, as some seem to think.

I was a Warnock fan too, and never understood the over analysis of his emotional after match interviews.

Wilder’s are much better, but I hold the importance of them with at same level of importance - two tenth’s of fuck all.

He was the one who should have gone out from the club this summer not Robinson (who looked WBA's best player in the highlights) or Freeman who offers something but was so little used would probably have been desperate to leave.
Didn't want him for all that money for various reasons. 1. Clearly far far too much 2. When you pay that you know he's going to be playing 3. So many forwards signed it would keep Billy Sharp out. You know that bloke who scored the goals to get us promoted.
NEVER imagined in my wildest dreams he could be so fucking shite.
NEVER imagined in wildest dreams that Wilder could be so arrogant deluded or whatever that he could keep playing him every week when he is clearly this shite.
He does have a history of playing a lump up front though, for example signing Kitson for Oxford after leaving us! Despite saying all the time in the Premier League saying that pace up front is the key!
As for the signings. One has to seriously question who we are signing (I have from last season) who is the key man to them. Is it all Wilder, scout based or group/committee? (We haven't got a camel if it's a committee it's a fucking donkey!)
No one would pay much for him though so that's why we should have been looking to loan him to the Championship in the summer. (Barnsley the only club I can think of who may have been interested. Wednesday LOL!) Just as when we signed Ramsdale and clearly had a good relationship with Bournemouth we should have pushed for the one year loan of Brooks.
All in my tweets at the time.
Win Win Win situation. 1. Bournemouth - fee was half the £75 million rating before his bad injury. 2. Player obviously left us to play at top level so reverse identical. 3. We get the key player we need, provided anybody but the thick donkey plays up front with him.
Luke Freeman is the strange one for me. QPR’s player of the season, who was seemingly bought as a replacement for Duffy, a player who can take the game to the opposition, make runs into the box......Exactly what we need now.

Good point on N-D. Our academy should have been a help with this injury setup as I would image youth teams deploy a similar system to the first team?
Your good point comment is a good point. I , like you, would assume the U 23's playing a similar style to the 1st team ie Overlapping Centre Half's.
Can anyone confirm this? Never actually thought about it till now, seems obvious that U 23's & youth teams would mirror the 1st team but IF NOT then why not??

Also on the few occasions he made an appearance last season, I didn't think he did anything wrong. If I remember correctly he replaced Fleck when he was banned. Remember thinking, although ge was not Fleck, he had a decent enough game.
Probably bit more contentious: anyone else think we dispensed of Callum Robinson a bit sharpish?? His first 3 games in PL were no where near as poor as Brewster.

My guess is he knows that the players are hurting badly and has explicitly stated confidence is low, you can't simply give them a bollocking every week.

Sometimes players need protecting, others they need a kick up thee arse.

Whether you agree with his interviews or not, none of us know what's going on behind the scenes.

Only read the first few pages of this thread and had to stop reading it , can’t believe how quickly some of you have turned on Wilder ... it’s fckin embarrassing

True....but I don\t believe it’s genuine.

In real life these people aren’t so vocal but social media gives people the platform to seek attention and feel important.
The current fashion is....if you want to be noticed and feel significant.....then exagerrate your viewpoint or say something outrageous.

If we were attending matches......you can bet that 99% of Blades would be fully behind Wilder.....suppose that CW knows this too.

Well done - sense and reason, although a few regulars have been a bit vocal.

Only logged in to write this - off again, let the toxicity calm down a bit more.

Surely KWAK have some goodwill credit in the bank for their achievements over the last few years? We were always going to hit a run like this in the prem - a run that could carry on even longer. Imagine the braying & hooting on here if we fail to beat West Brom in a couple of games time. As the old adage goes - let’s see where we are at Xmas.

It is not about us wanting him to see him slag off our players like he did after the Leicester match. It's the way he talks about the opposition and goes claiming we can't go toe to toe with them which goes totally against everything he said and we did last season.

That is what was disappointing to hear. Wilder just doesn't sound like the usual Wilder, we have had a bad run of games before but never heard this sort of crap from him.

When he says ‘go toe to toe’ he means trying to outfootball a team like Chelsea. We didn’t do that last season, we outworked and outfought teams who weren’t prepared to match us, which allowed us to impose our game on them.

You’re making quite a few baseless accusations there mate

If you’d read the lot, you’d see a fair few posts that are perfectly reasonable and expressing genuine concerns. Virtually nobody that I see wants him gone (I certainly don’t), just some kind of acknowledgment of the problems we can all see. And when we’ve put in a lacklustre performance, the last thing we want to hear is we should be thankful we’re on the pitch with these superstars. The wilder of last year would have slapped anyone that would have dared suggest that. That’s the standard I’m holding him to. And it’s more embarrassing to regard Wilder as a deity, levitating above all of us. He rightly took all the plaudits for our success and is strong enough to take the criticism that comes with 1 point from 33.

Been dropped from Forests first team the last 3 matches.

Give it up mate
Any worries, concern or ability to be able to see that things are completely different in all things about him and the team means that you are slagging him off and want him gone.

Even though almost everybody doesn't want him out

We just want the imposter that hS possessed him to fuck off

Apart from Berge, can you realistically see anyone wanting any of our players should we get relegated?
Wilder really has made some poor and expensive mistakes with recent transfer dealings and Basham aside our base players, the ones who got us to the EPL, aren't looking very good either!
Nobody is gonna take McBurnie or Moose off our hands ! We lost money on Calum Robinson + we couldn't even get a fee for Luke Freeman !
No one would value Rammers at £18m. And as for the lad who's senior career consists of half a season on loan in the Championship , £23m ? Jesus Christ.

He's turned on us mate , turned from a positive manager to an excuse peddler.

You know what is embarrassing, going from "we'll go at teams, we'll fight for a result, the big hitters are in a different league regards spending" to "we can't compete with these teams, they spend millions, we're just little old Sheffield United" that's what's embarrassing bud.

How did we lose money on Callum Robinson? Bought for £6m, sold for £3m + Oli Burke who would have been valued at £6m by West Brom. That's a £3m profit in my book. We got a loan fee for Freeman too and Ramsdale cost around £10m, not £18.5m as reported by Bournemouth.

Can't disagree on McBurnie until he starts scoring goals and Moose until he's fit and you're also correct that on current evidence, Brewster is a solution to a problem we don't have (yet).

Rather a £10m punt on a non scoring striker than £23m on one though!
