Key Points


Total domination, how we haven't scored is amazing

Switched off their goal

Goal should have stood. Hit Billy in the chest. Nonsense decision. Should have had 4 pens. Their players were making genuine saves

Should have done better in the final third but the players gave everything

Having a period where it's not falling for us.

League is a fair reflection of where we are. Lots to look forward to

It will come good. Been on a great run, the players are giving the club everything and we need to be patient. Been a fantastic run and weve got to go again

Hitting the first man too many times, not picking out the right runs

Too much quality for us not to win games and scored goals

Duffy was outstanding. Sometimes takes an extra touch but if I was a fan I would enjoy watching him and I would enjoy watching this team

We are playing really good football and going after teams. We aren't passing backwards or square . Were not smashing it forward. We just have to find that bit of quality which we will do. We are in decent shape

Dressing room is hurting. Youve seen a team tonight that has given it a right go

Good to have a guy who tells it how it is. God knows how they got away with that tonight. Wobbles will happen, Bournemouth lost 4 in a row then 5 in a row on their way to promotion, so can the experts and doom merchants go stand in the corner please!

A few aspects of that interview are a bit disappointing, having seen the replay the ref got the hand ball right on the Sharp "goal" and only one of the other turned down pens was a nailed on one, the handball that he gave a corner for, we would have missed it anyway the way the other one turned out.

About the only thing I fully agree with is the hitting the first man with the cross.

I think Wilder let a bit of the frustrated fan out tonight in that interview and he may regret some of it tomorrow.

Chris Wilder is almost always 100% correct in his analysis, but that snippet looks like a strange combination of Warnock and Adkins.

That makes a bit more sense, but sometimes in the situations we pass sideways there is almost always a better option going forward that we somehow don't see.

Yes as I posted he let the frustrated fan out of himself tonight, Warnock light I would say...

...Nothing like the Bullshit of Bozo Adkins though.
 
He watched a different game, how he thinks everyone gave everything tonight is beyond me. I can only imagine it's a managers ploy as the anger he felt after charlton didn't seem to have an effect.

I am usually Coutts' biggest fan but he had a mare tonight, he backed out of challenges and had opportunities to shoot and went sideways instead. Probably the only player worse was Sharp who rounded off his nights work with the worst penalty I've seen taken at Bdtbl. Basham deserves a mention for being pants as does freeman and can I also say well done to lafferty for taking the Jordon Stewart award for just running the ball out of play for an opposition throw in.

I suppose the positives would be that on tonight's performance we'll get to keep eel and I don't think sharp and Leon will play together again.

I'll try and end on a high note , Duffy played well and chapman looked lively when he came on again.

Hoping for better against Swindon.

It's an odd interview. The 'too much quality' comment worries me slightly. Heard that one before!
 



Personally I thought we played well again tonight and obviously dominated the game. The same could be said of the matches against the Shrews and Bury, but of concern is the fact that we have played three sides near the bottom of the table and struggled to put the ball in the net each time. Done was on a bad run scoring wise, but I wouldn't have changed it whilst we were getting results, the current front two look like they have only just met.
