I wonder if it's ongoing talks to reach a settlement deal and then announce it? Rather than rescue talks?

Maybe they have to decide which bits of the backroom staff are also leaving so they can announce it all at once?

I hope not though and I hope they all turn up to the 5pm presser pissed up
 
They said U23 Manager is going to take over at Leicester game.
 
I mean... this would be a bold move by Wilder if it turns out it was a move to get what he wants...

Makes you wonder why he hasnt been so bold this season in other areas...
 
I do think the club really would prefer to keep him ideally.
 
He is arguing over his settlement I think. Walking out does not pay the same clearly... hope I’m wrong but I think the board is clear on its view and they do not want to sack him. He has played Russian roulette before with them so it’s interesting.
 
Perhaps the leak to the public has provided the backing from the fans that the board are willing to listen to?
 
Sad times. Perhaps in the long run its for the best, going foward, I hate that expression.
Marco Silva, or David Wagner, but would much prefer Eddie Howe with Jason Tindall has his No.2 to get automatic next season.

I’ve a theory that Chris has put the story out there for leverage on the DoF ultimatum. The board might have said that if he can’t accept it, he goes.

There’s huge proof now that if he was to go 99% of our fan base would be pissed off, pros in the game confused, world class managers baffled and the media offering their support.
 
My guess is they realise if we go down, without CW and get off to a bad start next year there will be a massive backlash from the fans. CW still has the faith and patience of the majority of the fans

If there is truly a conversation ongoing peps comments are more likely to swing the opinion of our board than anything the fans think.
 
Shouldn't take the threat of Wilder leaving/ him actually leaving to get their act into gear.

This is one of the biggest meltdowns I've seen us fans have since Ched was sent down / we sold deane fjortoft on the same day

I feel that hes trying to get "the plan" tied down for the future and to do this hes pushing the boundaries very publicly

Oh do please climb outside of your own arsehole.

Simon Jordan is dead against the Rooney rule anyway, so I can't see how 'cosying up' to him would mean we'd want to get a high-profile BAME manager in.

Here's a newsflash for you: black and Asian people aren't out to take away what you've got.

For what it’s worth, I really hope that they get it sorted and agree a way forward (with CW involved).
 
Let's be honest, if he's resigned and that's bee leaked to the press there's no going back. He would look foolish staying. It's a huge embarrassment to the board if they're desperate to keep him they should have done so by committing to what he asked for last week

Maybe had a role within the club, like arranging Xmas parties and other social events, maybe, just maybe he has left this role??
 



Wilder is still at Shirecliffe and theres alot of media outside who don’t know what’s happening ubtil the 5pm press conference, if he leaves then he will get doorstepped by sky sports so i think we are in for a long drawn out afternoon
