He did, but waited a bit. He just started talking and then a player obscured him.

He might have been waiting for a specific player, but he's also not really a big talker is he on the touchline. Shouts the basic things, reminds players to get in posotion and when to push on, but not one for all the gestures and formation changes.

I'd imagine "lads, get your shit together" would do.

There was nothing he could say at that stage that could turn the tide. The players were knackered & they looked defeated. If it had been a boxing match he'd have thrown the towel in.

Silently disappointed & shaking his head was probably the most powerful message he could deliver at that stage.

His pre-match interview was very odd though. All of the talk of "maybe I should be showing off a bit more..." was very unlike him.

I think he's coming to the terms with the fact that, perhaps for the first time in his career, he has made some pretty big mistakes in his management. I'm sure he'll recover from it, but with the fixture list the way it is it may be too late to turnaround this season.

I appreciate Moore for all he has done for us but I still am at a loss as to why he is still here.

because we cant afford a better keeper. Although in hindsight I would have rathered the £20m be spent on another keeper then Berge or McBurnie right now, training up in Henderson's shadow ready to take over.

On his recent record, and amount of time played, wouldn't you say Verrips is likely a better keeper? And he's already here.

Yeah, we've not seen anything of him ourselves, but the fans of the club we stole him from seemed to think he was very good, and he's got some honours on the board.

At the very least, he's got massive hands and he's 6'5” so he'd cover more of the net.
