Wilder annoyed?

The Coutts situation was addressed. He brought in Evans.
At the time thought to be a good signing, And within our wage budget. He’s done well at times and as he matures may well come close to the master Coutts.
What you fail to appreciate, is that you simply don’t just pick up an equally good player to Coutts without spending serious money...club record fee type money!
And we need that sort of money for strikers, especially considering that Coutts will with luck be back and firing close to his best by Xmas...hopefully a little sooner.

So a little bit of sense needs to be applied on occasions.
Evans is a good player and has done a great job. OK he isn't Coutts but they have been huge boots to fill.
We're all looking forward to Coutts coming back but Evans has a big future with us IMO

I'd happily see Evans in the line up, don't see where the antagonism towards him is coming from. It's the Holmes/Lundstram combination which worries me.

I still see both of those having a part to play. Holmes can come on and change a game but hasn't had the chance to because of injury.
Lunny is only 24 and will improve with game time - already like a lot of what he does but he is not the finished article.

Evans hopefully will be the player we're looking for. But the trinity were the key to our success, they got the chances for the slow clever strikers and fed the overlapping CB, to panic defences
Take one out of the unit and relegation form loomed.
I'd much rather see £5m spent on midfielders not the £500k level.
Strikers are the premium prices ala Waghorn at £8-10m. But a Freeman or Coady might upgrade us.

Struggling to beat Doncaster is good reason to be annoyed. Can't understand why Wilder is not addressing the Coutts situation, his injury conjured last season's relegation form

Relegation form ? Wednesday fans going ecstatic about luhukays magnificent run with the owls. When we played them in Jan after 26 games they were 12 points behind us
By game 46 we were still 12 points ahead.
Owls say they can go up on that form . You say it's relegation form. Opinions do differ
