Is it me or would Chris Wilder be a seriously short sighted appointment? Are we getting giddy because we've jettisoned NA and become blind to future outcomes?

Let's say next season he achieves the unachievable and gets sufc promoted. Is he really the right bloke to lead us in the championship? I can't imagine bladey bladey bladeness will cut the mustard there against relegated prem teams. Leaving us to do what? Appoint another, more suitable manager?

I don't know, it doesn't seem a well thought through plan. Although I'd be delighted to be proved wrong of course.

We'll worry about finally getting out of league 1 first. If he can get us out he deserves a fair crack at it.

Rowett and Hasselbaink are the most recent managers that have gone from L2 to the Champ (albeit JFH had 6 months in L1) and they've both done well.
Evans hasn't done badly either and he quickly went from L2 to Champ.

Not remotely worried at this moment in time whether Chris Wilder can hack the championship or not.

Let's do the right thing and just aim for getting out of league 1 . Let's learn to walk before we run.

Worry about championship bollocks when we get there .

Simple Wilder ain't a blade yet .

There is nothing in his lengthy managerial career to date that suggests that he will have us storming into the Championship any time soon, he's hardly a hungry young up & coming manager, so I don't think we need to worry too much about it. I expect another Groundhog Day this time next year, but would love to be proved wrong.
