The Steel City Derby first took place on 16 October 1893 and since then the teams have met a total of 123 times, with United having won 3 more of the encounters than Wednesday (as of 15:00 07/02/09). United have led the series of league encounters since 1951.

I remember edi ...... er, a mate of mine editing the FAI page on wiki after we got hammered 5-2 away by Cyprus (FERKING CYPRUS) with Paddy in the net.

I'm surprised that I can sti ...... er, my mate is allowed to read the thing, let alone edit it still ......
