God's country ...... Rovrum!

The only player that seemed to give a shit last season, is on big wages & Mccabe would probably sell for less than half the 1.5m on offer. (if true)

Waves goodbye.

good luck to him. Been a good loyal player for us

Funny how a player scapegoated for long periods on here is now wanted by two 'footballing' teams

Some of the criticism has been unfair, but it also reflects his form. He silenced his critics last season, which also shows that those fans can keep an objective eye, and acknowledged his improved performances.

Took him 5 years (or since we were last in the PL) to get his form back

It seems the story could be true but then read the 1.5m fee, then i knew it was a load or rubbish. If he does go, then it will be under 750k

tell em if yer want quinn yer have to buy cressy as well.........

There's certainly been spells when he's looked a decent player but I think he suffers from lack of confidence, partcularly when the team are struggling. Having said that, as some have said, he was one of the few players who rolled their sleeves up in the 2nd half of last season.

£1.5M for a 25 year old with Prem experience isn't unbelievable at all price wise although whether we would accept less is another matter !

I think we'd snatch their hands off for anything around 750k at the moment. He was one of the ones it though would be on his way. The sooner the better if he is going. The quicker we can get the high earners out the quicker we can replace them

Aye and a lot of that lack of confidence can come from being a small player, in a long ball side, he spent a majority of time chasing balls.

When he's confident he plays the simple game very well, sometimes he tries to be more flashy than he is though.

Good Luck to the lad, I think he would have seriously helped us next year but a chance to return to the top flight is a fantastic opportunity for him and he'll also free up valuable wages for us.

Always looks busy, but it's a rare occasion his effort turn into something productive. I'd snap their hands off.

He will almost definately go to one of those clubs this summer. My money would be on Swansea. That figure is certainly pure speculation though.....if we were given £1.5M for Quinny (no disrespect to him because he's a decent player) I would be shocked to say the least

If Martinez ends up at Villa he won't want Quinn there.

That might result in a knock on and Rodgers goes from Swansea to Wigan and I doubt he'll be looking at Quinn there
