Come on chaps, get a grip. I have to drive three hours each way minimum for the pleasure but I always get something out of watching the mighty Blades. It'll pass.

Get working on the fan's voice idea. I'm sure McCabe and Adkins are just as frustrated as we are, McCabe in particular needs some ideas as to what to do next. I suspect it has become a nightmare for him, he doesn't know what he is doing for certain. We must ease his pain.

I'm planning beer and a meal after so it is no problem.

I'm going. Got my Chezzy and Shrewsbury away tickets and will be going to Coventry too.

This'll be the first season in a while i've been to every competitive game.. seems i've picked an absolute horror of a season to do it, but I don't regret going any of the games i've been too. I've become largely immune to the rubbish performances most weeks and some of the home games in particular having been boring at times, but there's nowhere i'd rather be than watching United.

Planning on going, the number of people saying "huuueeey" into the porcelain trombone in my gaff currently (not me, presently) suggests I might be otherwise preoccupied :(

Looking bad for me.

I have a new flatmate and so far in the two weeks he has been here the police have been round twice and the ambulance once, and he ain't telling me what the police were interviewing him about today. I can't get in touch with the people who could remove him from here until Monday, so much as I love United, and much as I am incredibly annoyed at missing tomorrow, I am not leaving the flat unattended for any longer than it takes to get to Sainsbury's Local and back; my record and CD collection didn't come cheap you know.

Part timer.

:D

You're emotional soreness miraculously hasn't deteriorated. You remind me of one of those people that can recite every word of an argument they had with you about 5 months ago. Hands on hips and with a bit of a stance on at all times of course. As that annoying song goes, "let it go, let it go..."

*your* - but you knew that right? Being how you've accused half this forum of being your intellectual inferiors?

Season ticket holder but going to watch FRICKLEY ATHLETIC, £10 but worth every penny!

I am liable to human error, and it does show its face at times. Not that I'm suggesting you're making the point you are, but if you were to practise what you preach to a certain extent and approach that post logically yourself, you would consider taking averages and an overall view in to account when taking it upon yourself to comment on somebody else's intelligence.

What you wouldn't do is go off one post to make an assumption. Which, to me, ironically adds bitesize evidence to a prediction of your own aptitude.

And today's fuckwit competition is to rearrange the above words to make a comprehensible sentence.

Get away, well I'd never!

You, make an error?

.

I'll be too busy making insightful comments based on BBC stats during the game to actually go and watch it.

Depends if I can have the car or not, I just can't be arsed getting the bus down. There's no pull to this game, crap weather, crap players, crap manager and it's Walsall. Hardly gives you butterflies does it?

1. I draw the following conclusions. Firstly the continual and habitual 'human error' that they admit to, has made you look like a laughing stock.

2. It is well and good knowing a few long words, and you may think that having an extensive volcabulary gives you intellectual superiority over the person you are engaged in debate with, but if your verbosity lack the necessary succinctness and context, then to use an euphemism, it is somewhat akin to giving a Chimpanzee a loaded AK47 and trusting the aforementioned primate to discharge it in a safe manner.

I'm away for the weekend. This usually meant we would win the game I missed but the lads have ended that phenomenon this season by losing every other week

Looking forward to it just the same as my first game 1965, Sheaf View for a pint with my mate Bob, grumble, moan, bit of gallows humour.
Anyhow ST renewed this week - Its the Blades way.....

See you there ;)

I've spent approx £2500 on the blades this season spending time away from my family most weekends to watch poor football. I've enjoyed the days out more that the football itself. Today I woke up feeling like the blades playing was a burden, how sad is that! I Intend to take my kids out for the day to the park and kick a football about. The way I feel today I don't even know if I'll be renewing. Got a chezzy ticket but other than that i think that's me done for the season :(

hey Brownie, I know lots of long words but don't worry............

......... I know that I'm a happy clapping wazak (or however they spell it) ;)

Looking forward to a tasty Chinese meal before the match, hoping (without great expectations) for a decent performance/win and then driving 50+ miles home in time to see The Hollies in concert - probably the highlight of the day.

Well, i'll be going as it is my 60th birthday ! - Senior Blade and all that stuff now.............

What's betting my beloved Blades will fuck up my 60th birthday...............ah well, there's always hope that "our" midfield actually run around a bit, look up, pass forward.............hmmm, but then again..............

UTB

Ah well, there always your 61st you can celebrate.

Season Ticket Holder living in Cheshire, at least 1 hour journey each way.
I'll be there, as poor as we're playing i'm a blade til the end. I'll support the team even when we're playing in the Conference North

Agreed pal, Blade till I die, no matter what. Let's not forget that the current owners, current manager and current players are merely the current custodians of our beloved team colours. In the fullness of time, they will all be gone, as will we as individuals, but as a group of supporters and fans, we ARE Sheffield United.
