These injuries and results are testing the manager coaches and the squad. So far fair to say the response isn't good enough. Regardless that we deserved more in a few matches. That the point.

Yep exactly this. We were the better side (admittedly against a poor one) and we got robbed really. They’ve not had a decent chance all game and should definitely have gone down to ten men.

It’s obviously disappointing to lose but we should have got one point minimum and realistically three.

I do get what you mean but I also think that the final result is a direct result of the two team's performances (I know that sounds patronising but bear with me).

I think that, barring heinous referring mistakes, the team that wins is by very definition the better team on the day. McBurnie's missed chance, for example, isn't separate from the performance, it is part of it. Similarly, our Centre Half foolishly clattered their forward giving away a penalty and none of theirs did - I think these things count towards the overall performance rather than it being a case of "We were the better team but..."

That's just my own philosophy on it all, I'm aware others see it differently.
