Why So Many With No Faith After 3 Glorious Years

This is my own opinion it may be wrong but, I feel the doom and gloom is from our younger fans (under35) say, they are used to success under CWAK and let's face it in their time we've never had a telling time.

I don't think we'll go down and would settle for 17th obviously like to be higher, who knows we may just click; seriously does anyone think that Fulham, WBA, West Ham fans and few others are slitting their wrists at this moment in time. After the opening 10 minutes against Wolves I feel we've settled down nice and had great saves stop us scoring, if Lundstram had scored that pen at Villa we'd have won but he didn't and we paid price.

Okay got some awkward difficult games coming up but hey that's why we wanted to be in Premier League, no one gets an easy ride. Last season Norwich beat City and never built on it, likewise Watford beat L'pool 3 nowt but I said at start of season they never recovered from the mauling in cup final.

The Ipswich match we won 7-0?

I know you were being facetious, but that was a real surprise. Ipswich in the 60s/70s under Bobby Robson were real contenders and regularly finished in the top half.

I can't pretend to remember the game that well as an eight year old, but bloody hell, Woody was on fire that day. I had Woody and TC posters on my wall, but the former was so often in the latter's shadow. Woody nbever sought the limelight and was a superb club servant. In today's game he'd be up there like 'yer Rooneys' or 'yer Ryan Sterlings'. He must be one of the best players ever, not to have played for Ingerland.

What a baby.

It's really getting very boring being told what to think by people who have nothing cogent to say about how we will improve.
Spot on. I’ve tried to base concerns on tactical issues i can see;-
  • relying on defenders to deliver the final ball;
  • how slow our transition to attack is;
  • the clear increase in hoof;
  • lack of guile and vision from central positions;
  • inability to take a man on;
  • persisting with out of form players;
  • ditching the CAM role completely;
  • 7 defeats in a row whilst hardly landing a glove on the opposition.

Wilder, and the players rightly took the plaudits over the past few years. They’re not children, they can take the criticism when it’s justified. Doesn’t mean we don’t love them or cheer them on.
