I agree, it feels like a fuckin witch hunt for a lad who's had a good season and done nowt wrong, other than not play for one of the Glasgow 'giants' who pick up a lot of their best players From the championship.

Despite the fact there any number of factors for this, the player themselves cops a hefty wedge of blame and basically get tarnished as traitors for not saving the Scottish side. Add to that all the stuff about McBurnie not being 'properly Scottish, playing in England and whatever else and they're going to loathe him.

I'll admit I'm a bit cautious but I'm guessing that's just because we've spent so much and I still can't get my head round us paying that much for anyone. Hopefully they're wrong, but they remain vitriolic so he doesn't get called up and end up getting injured or something at a crucial time.
