It's a fair point that we rarely win by more than one goal, but on Sunday we actually did, so the timing of this post may have been better.
I think our counter attacking vs Tranmere was actually better than in years. As soon as we won the ball we looked to go forward and punish them before they could reorganise and get men behind the ball. Murphy was very good in that respect, Porter also made many runs down the channels, but the whole team looked determined to bomb forward immediately after we'd won the ball. We've really had a lot of managers who've neglected that side of football, but hopefully Clough will be the man to get it right.
