Last 20 we were camped in their third and not just launching Hail Marys.

We're not shit, we're just inconsistent. If we were shit we'd be in the relegation spots.

I reckon the explanations will be varied and subjective, we can start a long list? Who doesn't love a list? In no particular order:

1. We're not settled into our system yet. Under 3-5-2 Duffy Ball, everyone knew where they should be, and what their viable runs or options were. They knew when to go, or when to sit. They knew who would be where at all times, what balls were on, who would cover them. We are no where near close to being as well drilled.
2. We look soft defensively in CM and lack the physical presence of two athletes that this system requires.
3. We have two CBs who are most used to playing in a 3 these last few years, learning to play as a two again, and with one another for the first time.
