Absolute shit hole. Milton Keynes is dump, but you are actually nowhere near there. You go to suburban Ferry Stratham, then wonder for miles. You'll pass through numerous industrial estates and then when you see the Asda you'll spot the half finished stadium of the plastic club which is likely to be a quarter full (mostly Blades).

Nope, I am not going. Last year was painful from start to finish (despite near on a couple of gallons of ale).

I'm not going either but mainly because I'll be here. After last season's disappointment (terrible game, got piss wet through on the walk back to the pub) I decided I needed to be as far away as possible.

, we stayed the night before the game last year on the way back from Paris... Resorted to jugs of Wetherspoons cocktails we were that bored.

Obviously didn't find the night life then Foxy! If you want a livelier night you need to go to the Theatre District in the City Centre or the Hub. For pubs before the game on the Saturday, go to Fenny Stratford which is a 20 minute walk to the ground - loads of pubs teeming with Blades fans with any luck.

Good call on Fenny Stratford. Thats where i went boozing last year, and it was a cracking place to have a few ales before the match.

Ok, so it's on to MK this saturday.
I haven't seen anything of MK Dons this season so don't know if they are as good as last season.
Boring and dull i know, but, i for one would take another 1-0!!

Mk is the biggest dump in the country? You don't get out much then. I'm not from mk, it's got rough areas as has most places, you want to go to Luton now that's a shit hole

I get out quite a lot thanks, I have even had to spend a few days in MK a couple of times and it is a dump, Luton is like El Dorado in comparison.

Do you regret going GAZBLADE? Shithole isn't it? Not only a dire performance, but also a dodgy last minute penalty sends us down. Harsh. Hope the ale in the concrete canyon helped to numb the pain.

Olle, yes a fuckin shithole but plenty of ale did indeed numb the pain.
I've said before that the performance was fuckin, 'Turgid!'
I respect everyone's views on the game, but, alot of people saw some much more positive things than i did!!
It's a God awful league and the sooner we get out of it the better.
