It's not very enjoyable at the moment but for most football fans (or perhaps not these days given prevalence of top six supporters) it's a game of rough with the smooth.
The 'era' of 2016-2025, a run of enjoyable promotion campaigns/fights and Premier League exposure (some of it extremely good, the best months many of us have enjoyed supporting this club in our lifetimes, though most of it actually quite shit) is now over and was fittingly ended with a Wembley car crash. The irony is Wilder remains in charge.
Honestly what happens next is any man's guess but I would hedge a bet on some League One-era style Bladeacoster nonsense just executed a division higher.
