Indeed. When they played at the Lane, for some reason I can’t remember, I was quite near to the front of the kop. All game Ray was in the ref’s ear. We won a corner at the kop end and Ray was telling the ref it was a goal kick. I’d had enough of his jibber-jabber by then and shouted “shut the fuck up you fucking bald cunt”. I look back with embarrassment that I called one of the genuine good guys a fucking bald cunt. Not my finest moment.
(I did shout at a young Ryan Giggs “Giggsy, Cantona’s shagging your missus” based on the rumours about Cantona’s behaviour at Leeds, I was quite proud of that one).

Trevor Hockey was a great player at Norwich, a real crowd favorite if only for a short time. Still remembered there.
