Millmoor often seemed to be a potential deathtrap looking back at the old days.
My Father was there the day Rotherham had their record attendance, against United in 1952-3 when we won the old Division 2. There were over 25,000 there and Lord knows how they all got in.
He says that he watched the game sitting right next to the pitch, along the touchline at one end. Loads of kids were lifted onto the pitch to escape the crush. Different times.
