This year I'm not in the slightest bothered about the transfer window that way come Feb 2nd I won't be the slightest bit hurt and upset when all around have snapped up the decent players leaving us to swallow the bitter pill of excuses (no one available, not better than we already have, huge wage demands, need to cut the wage bill, quality not quantity blah blah blah). We've heard them all before over the last three years, big Kev must really try harder and come up with some new ones as by now they are wearing a bit thin and credit crunch don't cut it. Does anyone honestly think KB can bring in any real talent with his track record (Henderson, Spring, Cotterill, Howard, Stokes, Dyer, Halford, Sun Jihai etc). Only Sun looks to have real quality Halford looks fairly steady, the rest have made no impression at all on the team. It's all the more galling when footballing giants such as Burnley and Crystal Palace with Colin in charge can find and attract quality on gates half the size of ours and no parachute payments to quote BB "same owd united no ambition". Hope I'm proved wrong but nah I just can't see it.
