That's exactly what I've done in reply to another poster.

Did it really take off back in April 2014?

Was it actual discussion or was it just the usual murmurs in regards to ex players?

Bumped the thread in the Rumour Mill. I would say 4 pages of discussion proves you quite conclusively wrong.

Reading all these recommendations shows me how little I know/care about this league.
That's really arrogant I know but very few opposition players catch my eye to be honest.

Rewriting history to suit some personal agenda? Have you ever thought about a career in politics?

Scouting Holland and Norway eh?

If they come back from the trip with the next Ole Gunnar Solskjær, the next Jan Åge Fjørtoft, the next Jostein Flo, and a penchant for pickled herring layered on a slice of dense bread, I think we'll have to call that a win, right?

(Except the pickled herring thing. Tried it once and it was fucking disgusting.)

Just seen and read through the thread, I'd like to think I'm decent enough to concede you this one.

I wasn't signed up to the forum at the time.

Apologies mate. Likewise Loughboro.

See happens to us all at some point Barney :)

Fair play Barney. We all get things wrong.

Burn
Grandison
Morsy
Sawyers

Maybe even get Rico Henry as a new left back?

Although it looks like Bolton haven't fallen apart yet so we can't go picking up anything there.

Unless you can compete in the bidding war with Spurs and Man United, you have absolutely zero chance of getting Rico Henry.

There's a very slightly bigger chance of you getting Sawyers or Bradshaw, but there's enough Championship clubs chasing both to say they won't have to settle for a League One club, especially in regards to the opening post figure of £1.2m.

Someone else mentioned Paul Downing. Your welcome to him for a half decent fee.

Anyway as many of you have said in the past you shouldn't sign any more players from us as they're always a failure as they're not used to playing anything other than our passing style.

Cuvelier is another example of this, as I've seen mentioned on the other thread. Great player and one you should be excited about returning, but not if Adkins puts him in a 4-4-2. He's not suited to it and didn't perform there when tried a few times for us. "In-the-hole" or nothing player. Same as Sawyers.

PS. Kemar Roofe isn't a winger.

Dont think its up to you mate

No, really?!

So you can compete with Spurs and Man Utd?
For this type of player, yes, we should be able to. Man Utd and Spurs will have money to throw around, but I don't think they'd be silly with it. Their budget limit for the transfer shouldn't by any means be out of our reach. He's obviously not a player to go straight into either of their first teams, so that can always work in our favour. Whether or not we will actually exercise that, or whether the player will want to sign for a club lower than the one he's at are entirely different matters.

For a player i have never heard of ?
I honestly dont know but how do you know spurs and man utd are going to.sign him ?

We signed che adams when spurs and man utd scouts were watching him , they watch players all over the country they sign lots of them too for fuck all and stick them in their academy

Anyway back to my original point
who the fuck are you ?

So you're talking about a player you know nothing about? Congratulations. Great knowledge. You obviously don't come on here very often if you're asking who I am. Swearing. Always a sign of a lack of intelligence.

What about mcnulty do you want him back or is he out of fav.
I want him back but a lot don't and he obviously seems to be out of favour. What a lot of our fans like in players though are hard workers who do fuck all wrong in their private and social lives instead of players who can actually put the ball in the back of the onion bag.

Well no harm in us aiming for some of your players.

I think any good player in this league is a viable signing for us and hopefully with Adkins in charge he actually looks to sign some of them.

One issue with a player crossing the city is the possibility of career destroying reaction when they do something slightly less than world class.

I always thought Roofe was a winger from the bits and pieces I’ve seen and read. What would you say is his best position?
