Can't keep Moore or Lundstram.
Nothing wrong with Cranie.
Get Bryan a job selling pies at half time.

They would both be backups. If we were to sell both of them we would need 2 goal keepers and 3 midfielders, I think it would be too much turnover.

I get your point but back ups need to be good enough for the level we are at.
I don't think either of them are.

On loan:
Stays: Hendo (enough said)
Goes: Madine (one dimensional, we need pace), Hogan (not good enough).

Transfer list:
Lundstram, Johnson, Washington (none good enough, not even for top of Championship)

Borderline:
Stearman, Bryan, Freeman, Dowell (could go either way)

Thoughts?

It's all about opinions but why are people wanting rid of Bryan? Folk bang on about trusting wilder/knill/Mitchell, they brought the lad in, he was Injured wasn't he? The squad have performed very well and he hasn't had a chance, let's at least see him in action before deciding he ain't good enough, if Wilder decides he ain't up to Premier league standard fair enough but how are fans on here having this opinion without seeing him?

Yes of course we will have to bring players in, but I don't think anyone with the exception of loan player's will be leaving till next January ,when he has a better idea of what he needs for this division......

Johnson is on loan . Ship out Bryan , lundstram , freeman who has gone backwards this season . Only loan is bring back is Henderson on a permanent. Players who I would keep but wouldn't be first team for me are Baldock and sadly Duffy. Think players like fleck , bash , Mcgoldrick will need upgrading on but should be given the chance to secure their spot

Hogan, not good enough , yes, that was a shit finish against Ipswich.
If you want me to be brutally honestly I actually thought he was pretty shit against Ipswich apart from his goal. I've watched the match back three times now as the first time I was just too nervous and didn't have the best view. He gives the ball away frequently, but there was some great movement for the goal getting in front of the defender.

I'm torn between was he a1 season wonder at Brentford or a cracking player worth what Villa paid and just not near really match sharp. He was actually embarrassing in the second half against Ipswich and couldn't have been hooked quicker. As always Wilder will make the decision.

Think you'll find not too many changes next year..Wilders idea retawill bein team spirit and have a go with what he has got...I'd keep Hogan...the pace in channels is good stuff

I think Wildesr overriding idea will be to stay up.
That won't happen with Hogan leading the line as he is.
Wilder will be rightly brutal to give us the best possible chance of consolidation.

Why would you ship out Bryan? To be honest I ain't really seen him, I take it you have seen him play a number of times to decide to ship him out, what is it you've seen that gives you the impression he isn't good enough, think everyone will be interested

Saw him against Barnet and he was shocking.

He's had a hard season with injury and illness but he was dire vs. Barnet. I'd also guess that he was a speculative signing so I doubt he's done enough to be considered part of a Prem squad. Could be wrong but I'd be very surprised if we see him make a first team appearance next season.

Makes you wonder why some of these lads knocked them selves out to get us there dunnit.....
It does but Colin got rid of a few in 2006 and Bassett got shut of Stancliffe after three Division one games in 1990.
Stancliffe had captained United to two successive promotion campaigns too.

Stan was about 32 in an era when that was considered old for a player.

He's played more games, scored more and registered more assists.

In what way is that backwards?
Just an honest opinion. Just think Baldock has gone leaps beyond him . Baldock generally gives 100 percent . Times freeman looks like he can't be arsed . Which is why Baldock has held his spot and freeman kept losing it

I get what you’re saying but I think they all deserve a chance to initially prove themselves in the PL before we talk about replacing them.

I remember, maybe last season, an interview with Wilder saying that Bournemouth are the example he wanted to follow. This is due to the many of their players coming up the divisions with them. Who’s to say the likes of Baldock and Basham can’t do it with us? They’ve been promoted from this division for a reason.

I agree with Duffy and it’s the one position I think we should go out and spend big in, but Duffy definitely deserves his chance to be in and around the team.

As for Billy, it’d be unwise to write him off, like many did when we came up from L1. He’s in the best physical shape of his life and will want to do the business for us in the PL more than anyone else. Whilst I agree we need to be planning a long-term replacement, think of Glen Murray still banging them in for Brighton. The goal posts never change at any level.
By the time they all get a go to prove themselves we would only have a January transfer window to try and put it right if it is not going well.

The club has to come before any sentiment over players.

I am really surprised CW has gone over board with the whole Duffy playing at Anfield thing.
Kind of dug a bit of a hole with that one.

I agree the goalposts never change at any level but the quality of the opposition does.
