Goalkeepers are going to let in goals that perhaps they should save, they are also going to save shots that supporters thought they wouldn’t. It’s a position that is pretty much black and white, either hero or villain, but its such an important role and confidence must play a huge part.

Ramsdale is a decent keeper, he's our keeper and we should encourage him and build his confidence and do our bit to help him flourish. George Long would no doubt tell him, that he’s lucky no crowds are allowed in.

The kid isn’t gettting a lot of assistance from his defensive teammates to be fair to him, but before we destroy another young goalkeeper, lets remember that old adage..........................

The drop off from Ramsdale to the rest is absolutely cavernous. In the one game he played Verrips kicks weren't even reaching the half way line

The stats show that as well as facing significantly more shots than last season, he has faced more shots from better goalscoring positions i.e. 'he should score from there' positions.

My opinion is he is a very good goalkeeper and will also get much better, as long as he avoids the numb-nuts who know sweet FA about goalkeeping.

You know the club is bigger than the first team right? I'm sure anyone who's seen him play other games will confirm he can definitely kick a ball further than the half way line. Incidently I seem to recall he got a head injury in the one game he did play for the first team when he came out being braver than Ramsdale has all season...
