The system in place says it's loyalty points. People bought season tickets knowing and that chose to go or not to go to Oldham knowing that. Whether that should be the case in the first place is a more reasonable debate but to move the goalposts after the event would just be madness.

Perhaps we could have some sort of scheme in place where you are awarded points for things like purchasing a season ticket, membership, away match tickets, away travel on official coaches etc. There could be a scale of points in place which are automatically added to your "account" when you purchase.
Then they could offer tickets to different bands of people depending on the number of points they have.
I think this would be the fairest way of distributing tickets rather than deciding in a haphazard way just who, when and why the fuck they can allocate them.
You could call it the "allegiance" scheme or something like that.
