Who on here has been to the most away grounds watching the Blades?

It was 28 years without missing a game - League, FA Cup and whatever the League Cup was called, just over 1500 on the trot.

Three.Rotherham's old ground,Mansfield and Old Trafford for a Cup match.The first two occurred after coming back from holidays and having withdrawal symptoms from not having seen the Blades for a while.

I know one "stat" Brian does - he counts the number of SUFC games he does each season. All XIs, all ages, all competitions, all friendlies, all.
This season, Bristol City was his 100th SUFC game. Superb .....

As I'm sure you know, the real problem is Bournemouth, where during redevelopment, they shifted the axis of the ground 90 degrees. What used to be the end is now the side. Endless arguments over that one ....

He always has a pen and paper at reserves matches as he likes to write down match reports for him to keep at home. He has done that since 1988!

Throughout the 80s and early 90s I was regularly in the late 30s early 40s in terms of games attended every season but for some reason I could never quite complete full attendance at every game in a season . Christ knows how you managed what you did but fair play to you for that . I've almost certainly enjoyed a beer or two with you along the way

Went close a couple of times in the 80s for doing a full season, 84-85 missed one, Portsmouth away midweek and the season after missed one again, Fulham at home!!! Finally cracked it in 11/12. All those that have knocked the full set off, season after season, top effort chaps.

Done about 130 grounds with Blades and 170 altogether.

Norwich - Carrow Rd - one side
Watford - Vicarage Rd - one side
Barnsley - Oakwell - one side
Reading - Elm Park - one end
Leicester - Filbert St - one side
Bolton - Burnden Park - one end
Middlesbrough - Ayresome Park - one corner/end
Sunderland - Roker Park - one end
Sunderland - Stadium of Light - one end
Bury - Gigg Lane - one end
Stockport - Edgely Park - one end
West brom - Hawthorns - one end
Huddersfield - Mcalpine Stadium (or whatever its called nowadays) - one end

So 25, including 7 that have shut down!!!
