Being 58 million miles away, watching that brings the warmest of glows to this old boys heart. OK, not the longest clip but it's nice to see us knocking the ball about with pace, players moving off the ball and players shooting. That looked like a bunch of lads who are enjoying themselves, and the goal celebration confirmed that.

Can't praise or thank Chris Wilder enough, top top man. I know one or two miserable chuffs might point out that we haven't won owt yet, and they'd be right but come on, Ray Charles could see the improvement on the last few years. It's like watching the Blades again, rather than eleven mercenaries going through the motions.

the steward dint know wot hit him very funny but it did show the team spirit weve got just now as for the kop pretty quiet again i think our fans now just turning up expecting to win but weve some big games coming up in next 3 months and im sure the noise and atmosphere will improve

I agree Rod. The times we've heard the fans from other clubs saying it's rather subdued at times even though it's a large crowd and I've often thought that. Now we sit in an excellent position witnessing a United Blades team which is playing for the shirt I think that the fans getting right behind the players on the pitch will in a way show some reward to the players for their efforts.

There's no place like Bramall Lane when the fans are rocking.
