We’ve had our worst and best years over the last decade. But who has offered the most?

Sharps got to be up there for me.

He took a big pay cut to rejoin us under Adkins. He was one of the very few in that team to deserve any sort of credit. Without his goals and running in that time we’d have struggled even more.

Then he’s played a huge part in getting us to where we are now. Not only on the pitch but his leadership off it. Plus he’s a blade himself, so we can just see how much it all means to him.

Special mention to Craig Alcock for going above and beyond the call of duty whilst playing Centre Half.

A few worthy contenders but my vote goes to Bash!
He’s been with us in the dark times, the mediocre times and now in the Big Time and he cost next to nothing!
That back heel last week for our first goal edged it for Bash over CaptainBlade Billy!

Astonished Fleck is only getting passing mentions. He's been our metronome for 4 fantastic seasons, never shirked, rarely put in a poor or even an average performance. Dovetailed fantastically with any combination of midfield, set the tone for Bouncing Day, sparked a pitch invasion with the winner at Northampton, and is now performing brilliantly in the top flight.
Sharp maybe sneaks it for his heroics in the previous shithole of a season under Adkins, but Fleck is a serious contender for me.

It can only be Sharp. Not only has he been a huge part of the turn around to where we are now, but he kept us afloat when we were drowning pre-Wilder. God knows how bad things might have been without his goals in a poor side. To then captain the club and score thirty in a season, become the highest scoring forward of the last twenty years in the English leagues, and score our first Premiership goal in over a decade...how can anyone rival that?

And I haven't even gone into the Bladey bladeyness of dropping down a division just for a chance to play for his home club.

Billy for me, then Bash and Fleck even endas.
Imagine ten years ago we would be where we are now, we’ve gone through some shit.

Have we? How old are you?

I’d say nearly fighting relegation to league two and the Adkin year have been one of the worst years

And that the last 2/3 seasons have been some of the best we’ve ever had

I appreciate what he did for us... but really? Our 4th best player of the 2010's?
Lots of contenders of course.
But he was instrumental in digging us out of the abyss of the 1st division, for which I will always be grateful.

Didn’t we have some crazy record of never losing when he played?
