If the choice is between Micky Adams, Phil Brown, Stuart McCall and Dave Bassett then we're truly up shit creek. Out of those, sticking with Micky is our best best.

In the last 10 years (or more) he has had one job in the lower leagues at Port Vale.

Although he came into a bad position at the club he doesn't portray confidence or leadership. Something our youngsters are going to need. Pemberton who is a long shot I admit came into United and the 1st thing he did was instill his philosophy on the playerrs and it looks to have worked....

I don't know who I would want to take charge at the Lane if he was to leave. Its always easy to say you want him out but most fans who want him out probably haven't any ideas on who they would like to replace him.

McCall was doing okay at Motherwell but didn't really impress at Bradford. Brown won't come and will not even be approached I would imagine he feels he has a great chance of leading Preston back.

A manager I like and think has what it takes is Nigel Adkins. He has already achieved two promotions from L1 but unfortunately Southampton got him first and have now leap frogged us. I would be interested in seeing who the fans that are adamant that Adams has to leave would like to bring in.
