We could yet pip Swindon to 4th in which case it would be away 1st. They do seem to be on the downslope although they played well last night at Brizzle by all accounts and the scoreline flattered the hosts.

Robinson does seem to know how to set up against us so I'd rather we played Swindon and hope the 6th place team can take MKD out, as long as it's not the Cods !

Swindon could easily slide into 5th in their current run. More than happy with them as Semi opponents. Just got to make sure no-one from below overhauls us.

It'll be Swindon - MKD are proving far too strong for them and will be the team finishing just behind Preston, who will be second.
Swindon are very poor defensively - watched their game last night and they give the ball away at the back constantly. As they did vs MKD at weekend
Small squad with a cluster of loanees and the marathon of the 46 game season is getting on top of them now.
Two games in hand at this stage is as much of a hindrance than an advantage as they need to play more games in fewer dates so fatigue will be a big factor.
Just lost 3-0 at home to MKD and 3-0 away to BC so their confidence will have taken a massive blow - their auto dream shattered over the last couple of days.
Can see us getting into 4th place if we maintain this decent run and them slipping to 5th which will mean us getting home advantage for second leg of semi

I'd give us a 50 / 50 chance of beating Swindon over two legs. I would say 70 / 30 against if we were playing MK Dons.

Ideally it would be beat Swindon in the semi and hope MKD blow up in their semi against Chezzzie or Rochdale. MK Dons in my opinion are the best side in the play off spots by some distance.

Agree , lets not tempt fate , even with harmless speculation . The main thing after the Barnsley / Donni games , i don't think its much of that we are hitting form at the right time ( Donni deserved something out of the game and continually overrun us in midfield ) , we are having luck on our side , which you need . Could be the harder we work , the luckier we get . Lets hope so , and lets get there first . Whilst theres league games left ,3 points for a win , 1 point for a draw , can turn things upside down , for final league placings.
