Maybe I have missed this news, but who actually suggested Rueben Sellés.
I can’t see it being the owners, they appear not to have any knowledge of football.
Was it the AI man who is responsible for the lads from Bulgaria, and is something to do with Dunfermline. If it is AI, not a good sign as I understand Wilder rates much higher than Selles.
Was it the chap who was advising the original buyers , whose name escapes me.
Or did the owners simply put a load of names into a hat and the first one out was appointed

I'm becoming more and more convinced it was down to his Hull team beating us 3 nil.
I seem to remember the owners were at that match

It's a very good question in fairness. Gary O'Neil was the other name that was mentioned and he wasnt someone I'd have wanted neither. If the board do decide to sack Selles then do we really trust them to get it right next time?!

They do need to have a trusted football director of football or someone with decent knowledge like Sam Allerdyce just as an example to get a decent appointment. Selles may prove to be a good appointment but the board could have got someone more proven or a really talented coach from abroad like Regis De Bristol was for Sunderland.

No, we'll look at two out of work managers who are available as they've recently been sacked which smacked of a poor recruitment process to me.

This AI thing is beyond me. How can they sign players by using that without watching them play a few times?
I don't get it like most of us probably.

I'd much rather O'Neil than bloody Selles! Least the bloke has some pedigree... We seem to have appointed our manager based off a shock 3 nil hammering at home vs Hull last season.

I don’t know the answer to that question but whoever it was should have chosen Rob Edwards. Proven at putting together a promotion winning team and dare I say it rather handsome and charming.
