They aren't more than the owners input and are written down over the length of the contract.
The only value on the P&L is profit for a goodwill multiplier. Seeing as we make Year on year losses it's currently nil, unless there's a buyer.

You really don't know what you're talking about.

No, but he’s simple...

He is in profit if he sells. You understood my point perfectly but are just choosing to be pedantic.

He understands it perfectly well. So do I, because you are simple. Sadly you patently do not.

Or making things up?
Shaun, I was not trying to get into an argument with you so my apologies, I accept that your knowledge of accountancy is far greater than mine.
The point I was unsuccessfully trying to make is that the amount HRH has invested is probably no more than the value of the asset he now owns so whilst he has provided working capital, he could probably sell up and walk away with a small profit unlike KM.
I think we were all hoping for more than that from HRH

You don't pay for player registrations. You capitalise transfer fees and write them off over the length of the contract. You can't make up a profit on them until there's a profitable sale. I thought you were mixing up cash flow and profit but it's clear you just don't have a clue.
You don't have a clue. You need to read some of this before you start spouting off.

If being intelligent makes people as rude and ignorant as you Pinchy, I am happy that I am simple.

You said he was in profit now. Which is ridiculous. You also said when asked about future losses "in a couple of years he would be at break even". How come those losses count but the last four years don't?

No.

The net asset value of Blades Leisure is £420k. He owns half so that’s £210k. You could argue it’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay but that’s not much.

Remember he has no stadium assets, Kev owns all that.

We really have to believe our owners, it’s the same for every club, you cannot make money until you get to the PL.

The Prince has invested about £15M and the value in the most recent accounts is £210k.

Expensive business paying footballers.

Just seen your earlier post Andy. We'll leave it there.

And the £420k is wiped out by creditors due after one year. Then deferred income adjustment for advance ticket sales of over £2m

United are worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for the club.
Pretty much every club makes losses but they keep being sold for money, our neighbours being a case in point.
We're certainly worth more now than we were when the prince came in given we're now one step away from the land of milk and honey.

Very good. Made me lol (is that what the kids say?)

Which one first, though? Me, I fear I may understand one, but not the other, me.
Well the law book is heavy going but I'd strongly recommend the autobiography of the greatest manager ever, me. He's the man Brian Clough wanted to be.

Let me return you to the point you made last week, our manager is inept ,not up to the challenge,so given what you have claimed,we are hardly likely to be one step away from the land of milk and honey with a manager who is failing, are we?

Why do you hope that? I hope our better players remain fit and playing well.

So do I, but if he doesn't play what's the use of keeping him on the books? Constant loans to lower league teams is neither good for the club or Whiteman. If he's not in the picture then sell, or release him and let him find his own way in the football world.

You want him to play ahead of someone better? Apologies if I misunderstand.

What’s good for Whiteman, by the way, doesn’t matter one jot. It’s what’s good for United that counts.

But we'll never find out if he is better at this level unless he plays. There's the conundrum. This tautology can go on, but I'm off to the pub

And that's progress measured in that way as well as our league position verifies.

Why are you such a pessimist Pedro?

When Ferguson signed Whiteman on loan he said "he's from the Man Utd 'stable', that tells me something".

Good player and let's all hope he earns a few starts and gets chance to establish himself.

Played well in midfield in our first team when he got the chance, not so good at full back. Always prominent in U-23's etc.

Looks like Whiteman is already sold as his #20 has gone to Lee Evans. If a player is out on loan, the number is still tied to him.

If he's out on loan again, he won't be back again this season though, not sure if that matters
