It's not about technical ability, it's about value for money and heart and your lads lack both.

Lucas joao for his pace would be interesting on a free!! But the only player I would take from them is Callum mcmanaman I'm not sure if they bought him or loaned him from west brom he would be a high grade winger capable of more than Murphy in his best day!

Lee and Bannan are decent. Hutchison is just a hatchet man and an injury prone one at that. Westwood is a very good 'keeper. Pudil and Reach look poor. The strikers might be good if they had proper service but as a team, they just didn't offer much and the strikers fed off scraps.

This is what I can't quite grasp about what's happening at the farm . Who actually does the recruitment there ? It can't be Caravan as he clearly sets his team up to play in a way that doesn't suit the forward line that they have !

Or is he really THAT bad ?

Wendy have good players that would improve our squad, or team: Foresthairy, Lee, Lees, Rhodes, Hooper, Bannan, Westwood. In all seriousness there is only Lees, Lee and Westwood that I'd take, due to us already having excellent players in their position (Fleck or Bannan?) or said players - who could improve us -, requiring ridiculous wages or fees far in excess of any value to us. Think Foresthairy, Rhodes, Hooper. Even if UTD were in the market for players on those wages and fees, I'd rather we go for younger models, on more realistic wages. The corollary is: which players, of ours, would get in their squad or team. I'd say Fleck, Coutts, O'Connell and Freeman would at least get in their squad. After so much money being spent that should be embarrassing for them. Premier League teams are hardly knocking their door down for players.

To respond more directly to the South Barnsley fan's "Championship has-beens, never-will-be's and failures?" I'd only say that I've seen many championship games over the last couple of years - the standard has never been as bad in my football supporting life. Many teams have acclimatised to the Championship with ease, and they didn't play the fantastic brand of football we do. The best football any team has played in L1 whilst we've been there. By the way, didn't you have to rip of businesses in order to buy your much "superior" players. Those players looked absolutely pathetic every time I've see you, and were more than matched with a side with the budget of Rotherham.

Yes, I probably should've included Palmer and Hutchinson. The latters serious injury and disciplinary problems would have to be weighed up though.
