Which players are Adullah planning to sell in the summer?

Bushy I might be miles wide of the mark here but I believe most if not all of the charges levied against the assets have already been settled. Like I said I'm not 100% sure on that but I do know at least some have been cleared

Maybe the one from January 12th this year is still open but all the ones from last Summer have been paid off

Four charges outstanding against SUFC Ltd. one against BL Ltd.

So, pretend I’m a really stupid client and explain to me what that means in real terms. How much do we owe and how long have we got to pay it back over?

as I see it:

Forget any big promotion push. Not going to happen. Austerity the order of the day.

He’ll sell the players that are in demand. I see two. Berge and Egan. Monies raised will all go to paying off all instalments owed on our signings such as Ramsdale, Berge and Brewster.

A few others will move on if there are clubs interested. Mousset, being one

Jags will leave and I expect Rodwell and Robinson to also leave

Norrington Davies will return from loan with Freeman

One or two academy lads promoted to first team squad

No money spent on signings just a couple of loans, with parachute payments going some way to paying off the mortgage taken out to buy the assets. I mean no on is expecting our owner to personally fund the loan are they? If that was going to happen, he’d have paid for the assets already not taken out a loan

New manager will be an out of work one. We’re already linked to numerous managers who haven’t got a job. Having said that, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was an overseas manager

Oh and there’s still no money to upgrade the training facilities. Expect a tarpaulin over the leaking roof

No idea without the accounts. I’d guess some of it is a line of credit that can be drawn down on to help cash flow while the club receives the staged PL payments. There are charges against land, presumably the mortgage(s) Re the property purchase from Kev.

Every game we've played this season I've looked at the team announcements and thought to myself "how many of our team would get in their team?"

Usually the answer is none, and I don't think that there have been five different names of our player that would get in their side across the whole season.

There will be very little demand for our players from other top flight clubs and it's no surprise to me that we're bottom of the league.

I'm not complaining or apportioning blame but if you have a championship budget you get a championship team, that's just the way it is.

Yes correct they can draw down from said facility at any time during the loan period at the agreed interest rate. The Macquarie Bank legal charges, as referred to above, such as charge over bank accounts, assignation of revenue, overarching debenture are all registered at companies house but the all important loan facility document is not and that will confirm amount borrowed and over what time period....a long winded no idea!

Just heard a discussion about Wilder leaving on 5 live. They believe that Wilder's position was made untenable because Abdullah wants to sell 5 players in the summer.

I'm guessing he wants to sell Egan, Fleck, Ramsdale, and possibly O'Connell even though he has been injured for almost a season. Who else will we get money for?
The way the season is going, especially looking at the Leicester game - he is not going to be able to sell any of them as their reputations are going to be in ruins. Except maybe Sander, who will escape tarring since he hasn't been playing

I'd say that's about right. I reckon he was originally willing to invest just enough to stay in the Premier League, but then with the financial impact of Covid, I reckon they decided to cash out and settle for the parachute payments

Berge nailed on. Then take your pick from Egan, JOC (January), Bogle, Baldock, Moose, McB, Ramsdale.

I suspect some will be here until next Jan, when if their fitness is proven after injuries, will be pushed out of the door. (JOC, Berge, Egan)

One thing, berge must be close to a return to prove his fitness for his impending sale because he's been called up for Norway's game in Turkey on 27th March

I'd like us to keep JOC firstly, then Bogle, Fleck and bash. Can't see Rammers leaving and I really hope he doesn't.
Not too arsed about anyone else bar maybe Brewster who I think will be a good player for usbiifbhebfinally gets some service.

I agree with all that. The one question no one has asked is who’s managing U23’s till end of season as a lot of them will be playing first team football next season!

When did he purchase the assets? That gives an idea of the date. It was only quite recently he obtained them wasn't it?
Not sure. I’m struggling a bit at the moment and my brain isn’t really functioning. From the court threads it might have been last July but I don’t know if any money had been set aside for it from that year’s PL payments, or if some of the extra we didn’t budget for, that we got for finishing 9th, was used or how much has been used from this year’s money.

Of course all this will happen after season ticket renewals end ... Remember poor old Prince has 5 clubs to finance now!

Berge is the only big money signing we can sell and recoup what we invested on him. The rest have all depreciated in value so if he wants to sell any of McBurnie, Ramsdale or Brewster it will be at a loss which doesn't really seem sensible but then we don't know how hard up we are going to be.

Other players with some value in them are Baldock, Egan, O'Connell and Bogle. I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 of those sold, hopefully not both Baldock and Bogle as that would then be yet another position we'd need to sign a replacement for. My gut instinct is Baldock, Egan, Berge and maybe O'Connell will be sold, and I expect that none of them will go for a fee higher than £10m.
Egan is a PL player in my opinion and would command a PL fee along with Berge

There are others as you say, O'Connell and Baldock that could be saleable

As for keeping the squad together, it depends how you look at it. The owner could actually do that and still sell a raft of first team players, but stating he's kept the core of the "squad" together. That would be correct. but the actual best, first team players may well be gone. Time will tell of course

By the way my last post had an inaccuracy in it. When talking about the next manager, I should've referred to him as next coach. I can't see it being another manager, a D of F will take care of that

Which two-bit football club is our owner chasing now? Anyone know?

Amidst all the doom and gloom of our current situation, lets not lose sight of the fact that the Championship is not that great in terms of quality.

Even if we lose a few players we should still be able to put out a team that's more than capable of competing towards the top end of the division.

There's a lot of teams in that league who will be feeling the financial hit of Covid, whereas the Prem money will have insulated some it's impact on us.

IF we make a halfway decent managerial appointment, I see no reason for us to drop through the divisions and think we could still have a decent season.

Perversely some of the criticisms thrown at the conservative approach by the Prince to recruitment and wage structure should work to our advantage, as although we've paid high fees for some of our signings, none are on the same kind of money that have crippled teams like Sunderland, Wigan, Hull etc when they were relegated.
Also, the injuries and poor performances should put off a lot of potential suitors for some of our better players.

Best case scenario:

Right Centre Midfield needs sorting though (and has done all season!)
