Where will the Blades finish the 2009/10 season?

It doesn't seem that long ago I was posting last year's thread.

After the highs and lows of last year, where do you reckon the Blades will finish in the 2009/10 season?

This poll will be open throughout summer and will close on the first day of the season.

Based on last year you would have to say the play-offs at least, however, until all the transfer stuff is sorted it's hard to be confident of anything.

There's no way we can compare last season with this as this seasons twice if not 3 times as harder.

Exactly... and needless to say, we need a proven striker who can score at least 20 goals a season... and a creative midfielder as well... but of course it ultimately depends on how big/small the transfer kitty is and we need to see how other teams invest, especially the relegated teams.

But Im an optimist and predict 2nd!

Which is my tactic... I don't think you reasonably can say where we'll finish at the moment, which is why my vote won't be logged until the morning of the 8th August.

Always the optimist I've gone for 1st place! Not because I truly believe we will but because it's about bleedin' time we won summat. All these promotions I've seen the Blades get, always runners-up or 3rd places, except for of course the 4th divison championship, what a season that was.

Being a bit of a pessimist I can't see us doing as well as last year, just outside play-offs I think, having said that I think it is really difficult to pick at the moment and if we could get a good win tomorrow it might just set us up. We've got a tough opening to the season, 10 games in we'll know.
