The edge.
Cw needs to give his head and shake now he's had a tinker.-some forced. But dropping Wright from the defence has cost us dear.
Even joc doesn't look as composed without Jake.
Ccv can fuck off for me,offers nothing defensively, especially against big teams like today when we got bullied to death for 39 minutes in the first half.
Too much Christmas booze Chris? ?
We were beyond bobar today,as off this time 2 seasons ago.
Ad hoc blades, losing to anyone is hard. But Bolton. FUCKING BOLTON.

And Wright would have done what today ? The main issues were midfield, Stevens and our top scorer missing 3 simple chances

The defence is better organised with Jake.
And what EASY chances are you on about???

He must have said something he shouldn’t behind the scenes. How he isn’t playing is frightening.

I'm starting to become suspicious, but in all fairness the only role he could fill is that of CB, and Stearman is ahead of him (and doing well now, for me).

Stearman can do no worse at RCB than CCV.

I'm not sure he has the engine to do the attacking part and get back. However, given CCV's form, it's worth a go.

I don't think for a second that Wright is as good as many think, but he is solid, we are vastly better organised defensively when he's on and he's our lucky talisman. Oddly, the latter can mean a lot to superstitious footballers!

Seriously Wright would not have handled Madine today. People need to find a new record to play because this Jake Wright obsession is bizarre
Look at our record with him in the side. He brings balance and composure to the defence and pulls off some right tackles. Its astonishing how players like billy and ccv can still get games after having shockers like that while wright always performs but gets left out.. Tell me why half the crowd shits themselves when any ball is put into our final third.

So why in your opinion do you think Wilder and Knill don't rate him?

I despise the c*nt but in fairness to Madine, he’s won most aerial challenges in the league, he bullies most CBs... the fat pig
It’s alright winning the challenges but it’s letting him pass it off, chest it off or flick it on without fucking challenging him, we got bullied in every aspect and Wright wouldn’t have let that happen.

Surely it's the job of the coaching staff to organise the defence not a player

nope - not after the 1st whistle goes - every team needs a leader in defence - the one that everyone else listens to.

It should be the one in the middle of the 3 man defence we play.

I honestly don’t think we did, maybe I’m remembering badly but I thought we handled him quite well, they had one chance and scored with it, if we’d won the game then we’d be singing a different tune about how our defense played against him I think

Loving this bollocks. CCV is getting blame for Stearman and JOC getting bullied by Madine. Just when I thought I was talking with sensible people they make this bollocks up.

If he had better players around him today they would’ve had a field day against our unorganised defence.

We were at the same game mate. God knows where some posters were.

You've got to understand that there's a list of players who's fault it is ALWAYS when we get a bad result. These players are currently Lundstram, Stearman, Carruthers, Lafferty (if playing) and Sharp. Basham has won a temporary reprieve, Clarke is no longer on the list due to the fact he seems to prefer scoring all the time to being injured all the time (but that can change)

Those that will never be on the list are the following, because they are amazing... Wright, J'OC, Fleck and Ched

Stearman has much more upside than Wright and is Tufty's first choice CB.

The issue is that CCV isn't a RCB and at this level, neither is Basham.

However, the bigger issue is not playing the guy who Scored two in the last game and not having enough 'va va voom' off the bench when Brooks isn't available.

I am a Jake Wright fan, he should be in the team.

However Stearman did nothing wrong today either, Calamity Carcrash Vickers was the problem and has been since the Fulham game.
No, the problem was playing Basham at wing back when he got turned inside out three times, once being the goal, facing the wrong way. Not his fault btw because he’s not a WB, that’s Wilders fault.
