Where are they now?

Most of out current lot would end up doing something after football though. There's only so much telly you can watch.

I notice that Jordan Slew is no longer at Radcliffe Borough and is plying his trade at Northwood in the Isthmian League.

I wonder how much he's made from the game? I doubt he's earned enough to allow him to avoid paid employment for the rest of his life.....

For so many that have become coppers, its ironic that if your house gets burgled or your car gets nicked it takes about four weeks if your lucky for one of them to actually turn up at your house.

What a sad fall from grace.

Wonder if he'd have made better progress by not going to Blackburn. That said I can't believe that one move has led to him failing to impress at a number of clubs on his way down the ladder.

What an appalling goal scoring record for a striker though, no wonder he's fallen so low down....

Someone I know who used to knock about with him told me he'd bought his Mum a house, but spent a lot on cars. If true, makes you wonder what he'll have left to show from his big money move, because he's clearly earned bugger all recently.

Blown his signing on fee from Blackburn there for sure!

Wikipedia says that he was caught speeding at 156mph a few years ago, the fastest speed at which anyone had been caught for 3 years! clearly a bit of a nob too!

Especially Julian Broddle.

To be fair, how many 25 year olds have even got on the property ladder these days let alone bought a house!

Fair play to him and his agent for getting a move and contract he clearly never was and never will be worth.

Cashed himself out at his highest ever value. Be interesting to know if he thought he'd go on and improve?

Slew showed a bit of ‘summat’. That’s it. He bought his Mum a 5-bedder (fair play to him) but the rest of his career has gone downhill.

Forte has faired better and he WAS shit

He looked a right player when at the Lane, one who had the potential to go far.

But I always remember that when United tried to speak to him he was already “halfway over the Pennines’

To become a top player and realise potential there’s a bit more to it than taking the first quick quid that comes your way.

I reckon he’s learnt that the hard way.

No sympathy from me whatsoever, you reap what you sow.

Probably right. I just wonder if players sometimes understand they aren't as good as people think and need to cash in before anyone realises?

An early 90s smash on the rave scene showing how much I'm down wiv da yoof.

Do you want me to dig you out some Max Bygraves for your afternoon cocoa?

Two quid for a bottle of tap water and a fiver for two junior aspirin.

Hippie.
